Time for the third Scouting round: https://www.mediafire.com/?u0afbenkzq...enkzq15qdg
If you have forgotten how it works, just take a look here: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1223271
This will be the last round of this type. However, if you still wish to sign talents after this round that will be possible via an fcfs open bidding system.
It is recommended to wait until the U21 World Championships are posted before sending in this round. Through those races you can get another chance to see the riders performing.
Included in this round is a table with the already signed riders. 6 potential 7 riders were already signed, which means there is none left. A new record wage for a talent was reached by VisitUkraine who bid 665 for Patrik Simek, who seems like a nice catch. Also notable Davide Albini who went to Santos ( ) and Croatia signing 2 pot 7 riders.
The deadline of this round will be sometime after the U21 WC Road Race. |

665 May have been overkill, but worth it very much
Ischenko looks great too. 2 of the top 5 riders rated on average going to our team is amazing

Nice to have another 7 pot rider, however signed three very young riders. I think that my riders in the current squad improve in off-season enough so we should be competitive next season, too. Albine is crazy!

oh sweet Albini and Simek
with Tokarev I made the worst signing in the first round probably - but then there are 4 great talents on our side including Garcia and Husillos. And all for 100
Illes Balears great to see with another great spanish talent. I am a little mad on myself for bidding a pathetic 105 for Provost, now I look like a damn idiot
Santos reminds me very much of my team last year, without the fails...

Woah I was not expecting Romero to get that high - silly jandal. Same goes for Simek who I thought I might have a shot on for ~300 iirc but nvm that
Other than that, amazing round for us, would have liked a secon pot 7 but almost everybody else with some sexy ass stats and all pot 6/7 is just beautiful.
Can DT limit pretty please encompass Albini next year

Some "Mads Pedersen" scale bids going on!
Very pleased to pick up a Pot 7 this year after messing up last year.

This round went very quickly, thanks everyone for answersing so fast! Trekbmc literally signed all the talents that got into this round.
Here is an updated DB with all signed talents: https://www.mediafire.com/?ote3rbhuk3...bhuk3rmulm
There is also a tab where you can see who is still left.
If you wish to sign one of the talents left please make a post in this thread, including the ID and name of the rider. Also, add how much wage you want to pay from your scouting budget, if you still have any left. Check the spoiler, to see how much wage you can still pay from there.
There are still 11 potential 6 talents left!

I have manually upped Seeger's potential from 5 to 6. Ollfardh was the only one to miss round 2.2 and I decided it was a little bit unfair towards him to have all his scouting ruined by such a sharp deadline. That way he still could sign a good talent from his focus regions. |

Ouch trek 355 for 21 pot 5 I thought I might get him for 105 Koncz for 120 too Good that hoyle got some africans, they looked nice but was hoping he'd get them.
Happy enough with Estdahl who still may stay or go but 18 y/o pot 6 is decent. Some of his stats less so

Is it possible for somebody to PM me a screenshot of the talents I signed? I do know that I just blew my whole budget but that's about it.
If it's not too much trouble, also for the riders with the highest AVG riders that can still be signed and highest AVG 18/19 year olds too but that's not necessary.
I'm on holiday at the moment so it'd be a lot of help to know what's going on.

Glad I took a punt on the Aussie but the rest are meh. No way I wasn't going to sign a rider called Joe King though. Wouldn't matter if he was terrible, his name is Joe King.

Some interesting signings, especially a few good very young cobbles talents like Kolo and Parreño to come through in the future, Koncz is awesome too, Logan isn't as good as hoped but could be trained into an interesting roleur so fun to have and Dini is the first good Swiss rider in ages even if he's Pot 5.
Some massive wastes of money too, but I couldn't go through scouting without doing that.

Scouting will start next season for your team. The season & tasks for you will start with the ICL18 General Thread. However, it is not a bad idea maybe to look into the files for the final of this season and see how development and stuff like that work out in praxis. But for now, it's no tasks for you yet

Riders Development
Final task of the season, decide about the training programs for your riders.
You'll need this file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nvh83bnirjv....xlsx?dl=0
In detail this is kind of complicated so I just give you a short idea about how stats are made. Behind each stat there is a number that is between 0 and 1000. 1000 will give the rider a stat of 85, 0 50. Which number is required for which stat can be seen in table 3. Which number the rider currently can be looked up in Stats.
Stats are divided in three types of stats, primary (MO,HI,TT,SP,CB), secondary (FL,PR,AC,FI) and tertiary (DH,ST,RS,RC) stats. Each of those has a maximum of points depending on the riders potential that the cyclist can reach in his career through natural progress.
Depending on the age, potential, scored race points, race days and if the rider is in a dev team, but also depending on the riders maximum every rider gets a certain amount of progress points.
By selecting the training program you can decide in which ratio they will be spent. There are 12 programs selectable.
NEW: This season you can also choose, in addition to one of the 12 training programs, one of 6 rider personailities. These have a low influence on the way the energy stats are developed. There are obvious types like Tourrider to get a higher recovery and Classcicsspecialist to get a higher Stamina. Hybrid will increase all energy stats equally well. Engine focuses on resistance and also gives a bonus on flat. With attacker you can build a high fighter stat. A Daredevil also gets a higher fighter stat and additionally to that can downhill quite well.
----
Now, how does the file work? The first thing is as always, enter your Team ID in C2 in table Team. If you have forgotten it look it up in teams. If you go to Riders you will see all your contracted riders listed. Next to their stats, you see a number from 1 to 7. That's the training program the average calculator suggests, if you don't select a program by yourself this one will be taken. The letter from A-E shows you the standard Training#2 (rider personality) for the rider.
In column AB you see the total progress points the cyclist gets. It is recommended to filter all 0,00 out to avoid having a too long list. column Z, AA and AB are the points the rider gets for primary, secondary and tertiary stats respectively.
If you have filtered out the riders that won't progress, you can start assigning training programs. Just put in X the number of the program you want, in Y the name of the program will appear and the stats will switch immediately to how they'd look like if the rider trains with this specific program. In column Z you can enter the letter for the desired rider personality. You'll notice this doesn't influence much of the stats, but in the long term it will. To know more specific how much better the stats got, you can check out StatsNew. In RidersNew you will see your entire team with the new stats.
If you are done with everything go to table PM. Send me columns B-D.
Notice: Don't try to sort the tables in this file! This will only mess up the file. It seemed like too much work for me to fix this issue, it's part of the file since the very first season.
----
A db with all signed riders in scouting and all others that will make next year's db will be published soon! |
