It looks like the first crash (the one with GThomas) might have been caused also by Sagan

If Sagan is DQ'd then why is Kristoff not announced winner?
It seems a bit weird, why they first do it now...
Demare is the first French to win a mass sprint over 10 years. No way French chauvinism is going to take a hit, it's far worse than in the Giro.

I think the decision is right, but the way in which is was taken was ridiculous. They should not have given any punishment until their final verdict.
About Demare, I believe a dsq was in order, but they need a formal complaint for that. Did Bouhanni not file one then?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

No. It's Kristoff trying to latch onto the Lotto train passing him on the right, boxing in an FDJ rider between him and Greipel.
Sagan is the one getting hit by him going down while simply staying in Greipel's wheel.

Sad sad decision by the jury. Yes, it looked harsh and was a lot of pain for Cav, but Sagan didnt try to damage him at all. |

Why did they initially give him an 80 points penalty if they are sending him home now? What happened in the last hour that influenced the decision?
They probably watched the overhead footage.

They could already give Froome yellow jersey and some Frenchmen green and end this Tour now . |

If the jury had REAL balls and they think this is a DSQ, Greipel would win the stage. Not even kidding.
Demare would be relegated for swerving across Bouhanni, Kristoff would be relegated for causing the first crash, Sagan DSQ'd for his crash.

DQ seems kinda fair given the fact Bouhanni has been DQd for less in the past... But this honestly must be a joke. I saw rumours he also caused the first crash, that may influence it a bit, but otherwise it's just Frenchies favouring Demare for green.

The thing though is, that Demare never does stuff like this, as well as Kristoff. Sagan is a bully. And that not for the first time.

But you can't judge base on previous incidents. You have to judge on what happened today. And todays crash was nowhere nearly enough to throw Sagan out of the race.

The initial penalty seems harsh to me even, there was no space for Cavendish, and he was out of balance far before Sagan's elbow came out, most likely to stay in balance himself.

Guys, was that the first non-childish post by Waghlon on daily ever?
