No problem with the DH stat just find the new cam messy
Also i have played a bit and i am noticing the pathfinding during races is much worse in this verision. No idea how they managed that, mountain stages are fun though, but the pathfinding between riders is gotten so bad that you almost have to be up front the entire race. |

Other than me who have tried that a lot of riders come together at the finish line on mountain stages? For example stage 4 in Tour de Suisse ended with a sprint between 50 riders... |

I feel like sprint stat is a lot less important. Iam playing carrer for orica made a train in flat stage with ewan as a main sprinter and adam yates behind him just to be safe in front but yates doesnt have any problem to stay on his wheel when ewan is going full gas in last km and i actually won a one flat stage with adam yates |

Really? Me and a lot others are finding that it's a lot harder to escape downhill, and bars even recharge while you're on the maximum dot. It was a lot better last year.

Heard Cyanide is working on this.

I've been seeing this in PCM 16, not in PCM 17. Cyanide's db is bound to suck for selection since riders are so close together for stats, so maybe try another db such as the Daily Lite Pack and see if this changes.

It depends a lot on rider i was trying Nibali in one mountain stage with big downhill at the end of the stage and made almost a minute gap in downhill till the end but yea i could go on 99effort and his bar was refilling, with some riders its going down for example on 80effort but personaly i like it more than in the earlier versions where i couldnt make a gap with good downhiller for example on zakarin etc because my bar drops down fast and doesnt matter how much downhill stat i had |

Sounds like another great addition to PCM series. All the bugs will be fixed, dont worry...in next patch after baguettes have their 2 months long holiday...which will broke more things than it fixed.
"Cyanide is working on that" is phrase of the century...you would think that Yates outsprinting Ewan could be actually noticed in development or beta-test. No, people never learn.

Let's see
Now that's how to do it, by the sounds of SOOOO much critics.
Have this game gone so bad ????
Perhaps my fears that now we go total Arcade style.
Have not yet had a BIG pub night, so not enough to jump on this cranking band wagon and buy it. By the sounds on this website the wheels coming off PCM17.
Need to hear a lot of more good things and improvements, or this Cyanide company looks to be sinking.

I stay on 2016, the news are not, IA doesn't use "train" and she is very strange this year, i prefer 2016 career, it's more fun, in 17 IA is same all time, breakaway go, peloton wait un til it has 5-6 min and IA go fast.
One year in PRO, no breakaway gone !!! Mountain, hill etc... |

People are always complaining when a new PCM comes out. It was the same 5+ years ago, and it will probably never change. The same people who say that PCM 15 or PCM 14 or PCM 11 are better in this thread, are probably the same who complained about thsoe games when they came out. Same thing goes for a forum I am on for Football Manager.
I am enjoying the game. I am playing Be a Pro mode. Even seen Breakaways with me, and without me, hold to the line a few times, so I would say that those who complain about that part are wrong. |

I completely skipped PCM 2016, but now I'm watching gameplay of PCM 2017 and I notice something that wasn't there in PCM 2015 yet. I mean the three lines next to the yellow and red bars. At some riders, the middle one in white, while at others the upper or lower one was white. So what does this mean?
EDIT:
This is what I mean:

It's been there since at least 16. It indicates which part of the group a rider is currently riding in. Upper line means the front, bottom line means the back.

Several races don't give CWT points for teams but only for riders. For example "Omloops last news" or "Paris - Nice" points are given to riders but don't add up to team total. This result in the wrong teams to relegate. |

Heck, I'm pretty sure it was there in even older PCMs in a different style. Something like from PCM 10 on.

Are you sure those riders are among the 5 best points scorers of their respective teams? Only those are used for the team classification.

I'm pretty sure too but I didn't want to give any false information that nobody even asked for specifically.

Yes i am sure they are in the top 5 best point scorers of their team.
For example Trek relegated with only 400 points while Contador + Mollema had 4000 points together. |
