That would probably be a good improvement if they did look at World Tour standings though, because it means already good riders and riders in great form are more targeted then young riders and riders who haven't shown good form recently, still wouldn't be worth a big announcement though, just saying it would be good for the game.
I found contract negotiations too difficult. I also found that the strongest riders would always win mountain stages. Fitness, tactics and luck only seemed to play a very small part.
PCM 2015 still works fine for me, just a shame that there is no good 2017DB for it.
PCM 2016 is not good because of the bad MO/HI stat calculation.
That and the new 3D interface really ruins the game. Additionally the +/- pace button is flawed and annoying like hell.
The talk about a new stat calculation for the 3D-race sounds good, hopefully the new game will be fun again.

I think they removed it in PCM 14, but they don't seem to have added it back for PCM 17.

If you do it on Steam then you used to get 2 hours playtime in which you could still return it for a full refund. Not sure if they have gotten rid of that though
Am I the only one who never do the races myself? I like the management part and setting things up but I always felt like doing the race was a waste of time because a simulation would give a much more realistic result.
Saying that, I just want the management side to be better and don't give a flying fuck what happens to the race animations etc.
