Because why settle for a controversy about only No. 2, when everyone knows it's the No. 1 spot they want.
As for your answer, Nibali and Nairo rumoured to have attacked when TomDum was on a nature break. So many reporters, cameras and such and yet we still don't know if that actually happened or not

This was a pee break, but when the 2 groups rejoined. You also saw Pozzovivo and others peeing (and can we now discuss something else then men peeing.......)
