If Dumoulin continues to ride like this he might win the giro still. Really impressive how he cut his losses today, and hes been great throughout the whole giro aswell.
Really nice tweet too, lots of respect to tom!

Still think Tommy's gonna win with the time trial. Quintana is nothing special honestly. If anyone's on the rise it's Nibbles. Somehow he always pops out of freaking nowhere in the 3rd week. |

With minor benefits of drafting on those gradients he probably would've been there or thereabouts...

Do not think there is anyone who can beat Dumoulin.
But he is Dutch, so he loses it because of accidents. Nibali takes the victory to last and Quintana sits on wheels to Milano and takes second place after a very bad time trial. |

Actually, If you would come here, I could also say it to your face, if you wish. I'm not just stating that "behind a keyboard". My life is only max. 10% in front of my PC. But I wouldn't throw stones sitting in a glass-house, guy who called me a twat, but who wouldn't say that, if we would talk face-to-face. Pathetic.
The thing is, I can wish people whatever I feel like. I never wished them to go with "100kph through a hairpin", like that other kiddo here said, I basically wished for them to crash at a low speed, like just have their bike slip off them. But well, you can always make an elephant of a fly. Please try to do that to your brain size as well.
But at least I can still hope that Quintana or Nibali crash in another stage, or maybe that they get ill. Still room for dreams.
I still don't understand how you don't see how sadistic your point of view is. Applying the same logic, it'd be like someone here saying: "Oh gee wiz I hope when Paul23 is on his way to work/school later today he has a nasty car accident because I don't like something he said/did." That's fucked up. Doesn't matter if you wish them to be or to not be injured, it's incredibly stupid to think.

Hats off to Tom for his post race reactions, even after such an "incident" he is able to be reasonable and make fun of himself, not many people would be able to be like that i guess.
Today is the sure breakaway win for me, because tommorow will be another key stage, short and these are the most action packed usually. I would favour some pacing climber today, because of fairly low gradients in last climb.

Not sure about a breakaway win today actually. Rolland, Mohoric and Brutt have formed a break of 3 with quite a big lead already. I think that the lead could be controlled for maybe even Gaviria.

Massive group of around 40 riders chasing the leading trio, that should be fun. Names to be told

Jeez that's a group and a half. Don't think Dimension could fit another rider in there if they tried

So Polanc is 12 mins down and Monfort is 14 mins down in the GC. The group has 7 minutes on the peloton now. Interesting...

Hardly as they will lose all the minutes they gained tomorrow. Unless they do a Landis. |

They look like gaining more time today though. Could move themselves up into the top 10.

Polanc in pink after today? He's getting quite damn close to the virtual lead now Maybe not a bad step of Sunweb to relieve themselves of some of the chasing tomorrow.
