Well it's not that Van den Broeck is not suspicious though. Though him being clean now would explain his worse results

After last year's third week, I'd really like to see how Dombrowski could do if he didn't sit up all the time and lose time in the first week. With Formolo doing so well recently though, I doubt that will happen.

The best race on the calendar for me, but unfortunately the route isn't quite up to 2015 or even 2016 standards. Still decent, don't get me wrong, but it lacks the classic, long and unpredictable transitional stage for banana-skin GC-action. Stage 11 has the potential, but its too easy late on. The route is, honestly, a child's game compared to 2011 (which is the year you are referring to when Zomegnan was fired for making it too hard).
Quintana the huge favourite. Honestly can't see anyone else winning if he doesn't crash, he is one, if not two levels above everyone else here.
To the topic: How i could forget Mollema, he is top5 favourite ofc. and i have forgot him in my list of favourites, he always finds his way deep into top5 of a GT.
I wonder what Dumoulin can do this year, as there is no long TT where he can grab jersey early...
No Yates in top10 Selwink?
If always finding himself deep into the top-5 of a GT is finishing 4th in the Vuelta 2011 (his only top-5). then yes, he is always finding himself deep in the top-5. Lol.
This is the GT with the most TT-mileage Dumoulin has ridden for the GC and the long one is at 40 km relatively early on where he definitely can grab the jersey if he doesnt lose too much on Etna and Blockhaus.

Long stages wont work at GT. Riders hate it and we infront of tv hate it.
Where is GT biggest action possibility?
Short and hard stages.
Thats certainly a bit subjective there. Apparantly all riders hate long stages and apparantly 'we' (as in everybody watching on TV) hate it as well. I didn't know that I hate it - thanks for telling me and all the rest of us how we should feel!
I suppose the queen stage of this year's Giro which is 227 km long 1) wont work cause its way too long 2) all the riders will hate it 3) we as spectators don't want to watch it because its long and boring.

No action before final climb.
Riders want to survive at GT stages like this. YOU dont like it because there will be lack of action. Yeaah all that fun at paper, reality will be different.
Did YOU have missed past year short mountain stages? Or did WE get it all wrong.
And this is best stage profile you get?
Queen? No mountain top finish?
Breakaway rider..written all over as that stage winner. |

Queen? No mountain top finish?
Since when do queen stages need to be MTFs too?
I much prefer downhill finishes, that imply that something has to happen from further than 3 kms to go unless most mountain top finishes.

I heard that Yates brothers arent going to ride together, I think Simon is going to tour with Chavez.
Also there are some speculations that Quintana will take Giro mainly as preparation for Tour as he is riding only Asturia and then nothing till Giro. |

Lulu Sanches/ Pontano type riders keep stages like this. Nothing bad there.
Or this is for Nibbles..happy birthday Messina Shark..this is your possibility to take time against other GC riders.
Do you know why they don't do downhill TT's? |

My bad, that was a typo and should have been "deep into top10", i have noticed that mistake now until your post, so thanks.
About Dumoulin and that TT...it is stage 10, so not in a first week and not flat, where he would put minutes into guys like Quintana, Kruijswijk or Pinot. With this TT, i doubt he can put more than some 40-50secs on these guys.

I guess there really isn't any reason at all for me to engage in this debate, but when you got Mortirolo and double Stelvio (for crying out loud) in the finale of a stage, thats a definite queen stage. Thats more than 5000 heighmeters. But apparently not since it isn't a MTF (which for the most part encourages negative racing, as matt noticed, as riders will wait to make their moves).
And again, I would much prefer if you stopped to tell me which stages I should like (and everybody else for that matter) because you feel a particular way. |

"Riders hate it and we infront of tv hate it."

But in all honesty, I should probably just ignore posters like you whose only object is to mock and debate me on any subject. Or maybe just Daily in general, would probably be better overall.
But I liked how you ignored the part about stage 16 over Mortirolo and double Stelvio this time around. I honestly cant grab my head around opinions like it can't be a queen stage because it finishes downhill. Its a monster stage, the hardest stage of all the GT's this year without a doubt on paper.

You're a father, yet still acting like a child. I don't know why you feel the need to be this provocative constantly and making this an unpleasant place for me to be, you are being extremely personal (despite you probably would deny that, but others have obviously noticed this pattern).
I once enjoyed being and posting here, not so much anymore. Its not a pleasant place to be when a poster such as you waste no opportunities to mock and ridicule me, especially because Im fragile enough at the moment.
Congrats, you have achieved your goal of being obnoxious to the point of me to leave definitively. There are other, better cycling forums around, like Cyclingnews, where my opinions on racing is consensus compared to at this place where I literally can't say anything without being afraid of it being challenged and ridiculed like you and Guido. I definitely understand that Kirchen felt the same way.
Now you will probably post a silly meme as you always do and feel superior - be welcome, Im no more here to get annoyed at you anymore. |

Riis, calm down a bit. Why are you so quickly offended lately? Almost everytime someone disagrees with you, you become hostile..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Dont be such a drama queen mate, we are just making fun of you, it is not like i dont value your opinion. Stay and give your input on races like you do now.
And please leave my child and fact that i am father out of your posts, i think that these are far worse puns than my "childish" gifs.

I don't think you get it. They have been this way for a long time and obviously doesn't change behaviour, so it really doesn't make any sense for me to post here when both's goals literally are to talk as much thrash to me as possible. Then Avin is playing it down as usual as some 'casual fun' and we can continue the cycle over and over again.
Im in a difficult place right now, my psyche is probably a bit fragile. Staying around persons such as Avin and Guido doesn't help that, so it will be best for me simply just to stop posting and engaging in conversations with people who doesn't wish me anything well. |

Spoiler I always wish well to all people, internet cycling discussion has nothing to do with that, that is just talking with bunch of people you dont know personally (well, most of you, hey Shonak).
I was not aware that you are in difficult life situation, so now that i know, i will stop with making big fun of you. But i dont know what problem is reacting to your posts about cycling. When i dont agree with it, i react and it is same with every other poster. You post a lot, have different opinions, so i dont agree with you often, that is natural. You also dont have problems to react agressively to posts of others, so i find it strange that you want double standards here.
Howgh, Peace.
Edit: And as tsmoha said earlier, we should stop flooding this discussion with this kind of stuff, you can write me a PM if you have anything to say.
