Handzame Classic goes to Halvorsen, who seems to confirm his status as one of the biggest sprinting talent (if not the biggest) yet again.

Very good week of racing coming up: Catalunya and 3 good classics, especially E-3 which is one of the absolute best one day races. |

I've put my PCM$ on Froome, but to be honest I doubt he will be the actual leader given the team they've sent and his usual form at this time of year.

SKY team for the TTT against Contador`s Trek => LOL
If Contador loses it will be because of that TTT.
Anyway , BMC for the win in TTT |

For me, the fight for overrall will be between Valverde and Thomas, Contador can even the strongest in queen stage (although I doubt that) but he will loose to much in ttt

Everyone's a Froome Fanboy, it's just that some people won't admit it

Davide Cimolai wins the first stage in Catalunya (Froome also wins) ahead of Bouhanni and Sbaragli. Roompot confirms it's the new Vacansoleil with an 11th and 12th place.

Both Kwiat and Thomas skipping the cobbles then? Very disappointing..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Thomas was known for a good while I guess, Kwito on the other hand I don't know. Only he and GVA can pose a thread to Sagan in Flanders. Also, thats the last two E-3 winners for you... Kwito is literally the born multitalent and can win any classics, yet chooses to focus on the much lesser Ardennes which is a shame. Should ride E-3 and Flanders.
Why do I always get the sense that I watch some shyte race when watching Catalunya despite many of the best riders in the world are turning up for it? Really feels like a meh race compared to Paris-Nice, T-A and Pais Vasco. |

I agree with you there. Rowe can maybe get a result in the smaller races, but he isn't going to win a monument. Stannard will be good in Roubaix, but I see him breaking on the Flemish hills. Kwiat and Thomas are Sky's best options for E3 and Ronde.
Now Kwiat is having a good season obviously, if he wants to focus on the Ardennes, he should (even though they have Henao/Poels already). He can't ride Roubaix if he want to be good at the Gold Race, but I don't see why he can't do like E3 and Ronde again.
Thomas on the other hand is far more disappointing, he'd rather domestique for Froome than have a chance of winning a monument apparently..

No Thomas would rather lead the Giro than riding the classics and I guess thats fair enough. He will probably dom for Froome in July anyway tho.
I think you are underestimating Rowe a bit, I think he will do very well this year. Stannard on the other hand, I don't really believe in him. But Kwito would have made their team super strong |
