Round 1: Aviation - Results
1. Name an airport.
Tricky question, there are a lot of airports to choose from. jseadog1 was the only one to mention the world's busiest airport, Atlanta. In the end, Heathrow came out on top with 8 mentions, ahead of JFK's 4.
Spoiler Heathrow x8
John F. Kennedy International x4
Atlanta International x1
Gatwick x1
Stanstead x1
Dubai International x1
Schiphol x1
McMinnville Municipal x1
2. Name an aircraft manufacturer.
As expected this came down to a battle between the world's two leading manufacturers; Boeing and Airbus. With 12 points, Boeing was the by far the best answer though, as Airbus only got 4.
Spoiler Boeing x12
Airbus x4
Fokker x1
Honda Aircraft Company x1
3. Name a flight simulation video game.
The answer is Microsoft Flight Simulator! No other simulator were mentioned multiple times. I've never taken part in the rFactor Racing League but I'll count SSJ2Luigi's answer "rFactor whenever trek is around" as correct.
Spoiler Microsoft Flight Simulator x12
Flightgear x1
Star Wars: Tie Fighter x1
Strike Fighters x1
Google Earth Flight Simulator x1
rFactor whenever trek is around x1
Kerbal Space Program x1
4. Name a famous person who died in an aviation accident.
Probably the hardest question of the round, lots of different answers here. Pilot Amelia Earhart and musician Buddy Holly both get 3 points, as John F. Kennedy Jr., Colin McRae and Lech Kaczynski all get 2.
Spoiler Amelia Earhart x3
Buddy Holly x3
John F. Kennedy Jr. x2
Colin McRae x2
Lech Kaczynski x2
Dag Hammarskjöld x1
James Horner x1
Camille Muffat x1
Subhash Chandra Bose x1
Darrell Ward x1
David Pegg x1
5. Name an airline.
Quite a big variety of answers here as well. Emirates comes out on top with 5, ahead of British Airways with 4. American Airlines gets 2 mentions, while six other airlines and one airline holding company get one mention each.
Spoiler Emirates x5
British Airways x4
American Airlines x2
Ryanair x1
Lufthansa x1
Delta Air Lines x1
TAP Portugal x1
Easyjet x1
Evergreen International Airlines x1
KLM/Air France x1
Selwink and emre99 win the round with a score of 38, although nobody scores a perfect round. It's really close behind those two, and the game is still wide open.

It's good to see Amelia Earhart getting mentioned, she's a legend! But she's not confirmed as dying in a plane crash... i would have called it incorrect... probably a good thing i'm no longer running the game....

Surprised I was the only one to pick Ryanair actually, with the forum being populated by, I imagine, mostly broke ass students Good that 2 not perfect answers don't put me too far from the lead though.

Interesting that Emirates gets the nod over the world's busiest, largest, and highest profiting airline. Filthy European bias at play, no doubt.
The flight simulator one is on me though, I could only think of Star Wars games.

Round 2: Human body - Results
1. Name a hormone.
A surprisingly clear winner, testosterone picks up 8 points. Oxytocin is the only other hormone that gets more than one mention.
Spoiler Testosterone x8
Oxytocin x2
Adrenaline x1
Melatonin x1
Growth Hormone x1
Estrogen x1
Serotonin x1
Indole-3-butyric acid x1
2. Name a muscle.
Heart only manages to place second as biceps prevails with 7 points! The abs, hamstring and tongue have to be counted as incorrect answers, as they are both made up of multiple muscles.
Spoiler Biceps x7
Heart x4
Gluteus minimus x1
Gastrocnemius x1
Hamstring x1
Tongue x1
Abdominal muscles x1
3. Name a sense.
It seems like sight is the most popular answer amongst the users, 7 mentions for that sense. Taste gets 4 points.
Spoiler Sight x7
Taste x4
Smell x1
Touch x1
Hygroreception x1
Fashion x1
Palate x1
4. Name a finger.
The thumb is sometimes counted as a finger and sometimes not, however, thumb gets 4 points here. Its neighbour index finger picks up seven points and is thus the best answer. I received the answer "jandal's index finger on his left hand" from a certain user, and I'll count that answer as just "index finger".
Spoiler Index finger x7
Thumb x4
Middle finger x4
Finger, Tennessee x1
5. Name a bone.
The results reflect the fact that this is a cycling forum! Collarbone gets 5 points ahead of femur and ribs, 3. I received both skull and cranium as answers (both of them are incorrect as they are both composed of multiple bones), and you could argue whether the skull and the cranium should be regarded as the same answer or not. I have decided to do so this time.
Spoiler Collarbone x5
Femur x3
Rib x3
Skull/Cranium x2
Ken x1
Tibia x1
Patellar x1
NTTHRASH wins the round pretty comfortably with a score of 32! LWThrax, matt17br, roturn and Selwink all score 28. No perfect round this time either.

In the overall Selwink retains the lead as NTTHRASH climbs from sixth to second place! roturn and matt17br are really close behind, but there is a little gap down to Luxemburger in fifth place. Unfortunately emre99, who was in the lead after Round 1, did not send in any answers.
