It seems to be tradition that each DSC has a specific anthem, and it would be no different in Skopje. The baton has been passed on from CHVRCEHS to British indie band Fenech-Soler. The band who attempted to represent Scotland before have opted to write the official DSC anthem this time in Skopje. The song titled 'Kaleidoscope' was written with the contest's colourful theme in mind says front-man Ross Duffy at the DSC launch party at the Boris Trajkkovski Arena on Tuesday. 'Kaleidoscope will hopefully be a fun and upbeat song that was characterise this whole DSC. We are honoured to be selected to produce the DSC anthem and we look forward to performing it a the second semi-final'. Fenech-Soler will also play a set of their other songs during the voting break at the first semi-final.
NZ is back as always, and it's the brother-sister combo Broods with their hit Mother & Father

Tbf apart from Raging Kodaline doesn't make these type of songs you describe
Other news: Does the defending champion takes part once again? Because I find it quite sad if we have a show without the last winning country and would take it then (even with no ESC related song)

Noah has just confirmed that he will return but as Head of Delegation for The Netherlands, therefore meaning he will have to compete in the semis. I hope we will see Macedonia compete too, it is always nice to see the host try to go for a double.
