my third rider behind Coquard and Alaphilippe was Zakarin, he went far down 
also König far down...
interested to see how Fuglsang will go without Nibali, as he is already confirmed as Astana's Tour captain I had him on my list for some possible big points or a KOM fight...

Very disappointed that I only got Barguil with my first pick, he was #10 in my draft order. Ewan is nice to have, he should improve with lots and with Matthews leaving Orica he'll be the new sprint leader more often.
Of my players from last year, I've got Barguil returning who was my third best scorer while Avin got Majka who was top.
I'm sure he'll do better this year, but he was only my 12th best rider last year. He probably didn't deserve to go higher than mid-late 1st round.

Can't believe Kwiatek was ignored that long, so happy to get him.  Martin is more risky, hopefully what he said about the bike positioning is true so he can perform again this season. Either way feeling good about it so far.

Well he's the confirmed Tour captain and will have lots of chances to ride for himself. I would've loved to get him, but I'm more than happy with my first pick and trustful in Fuglsang as Astana's tour leader as well...

Meersman might be the biggest steal of this first two round (besides Zakarin), a fantastic signing...he'll wreck PCT
and if Groenewegen continues his developement there is no limit...

The more I think about it, the more I regret my gamble with Landa Kwiatkowski, Kruijswijk and Zakarin all feels like safer options now. Though, if what AS reported on Landa and the Giro is true, that he will lead once again, it could prove to be a nice gamble, but he still needs to avoid sickness and injuries, and also find his 2015 legs. At least it's exciting! With Moscon as my second pick, I guess I'll need to cheer for Sky in a couple of races, which feels somewhat wrong
Very nice to see the draft progressing, eventhough it's a pity to see Roman miss out. |
