Facepalm for Rooney Also I get Exotic was stupid but what's wrong with a highlights video of Lombardia 2016, is movie, is superhero as genre is just what you define it to be
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Didn`t even know the WWT winner...
Thought I would go easy with a well known WWT rider but apparently not. |

When I saw that top-answer, I was like what the hell as well, but it's Armitstead, she just got married to Philip Deignan.

wait, how has someone managed to ruin the first set of round 2 questions?
I doubt I'll get another perfect round as a couple of the questions I've just gone with the first word that comes to mind that sounds right without being sure it is actually a correct answer or not.

I had that originally as that is who I voted for.
But then I remembered all the non-Americans have to know about the mockery that is Trump and hence put his name down.

Reminder that the deadline is less than 24hours away now. From 31 participants in Round 1 we're down to 24 so far. Still good, but a number of you are yet to submit. Don't miss out!

Round 2: Geography
Results
1) Name a Continent
Ok i realised too late what the problem with this would be... Europe storms to victory with 22points. Africa surprisingly picking up 2points, everything else just the single score.
Spoiler Europe x22
Africa x2
North America x2
Antarctica x2
Oceania x2
2) Name a European country not in the EU
Another clear winner, from those ever famously neutrals in Switzerland! 11 score for them, a good distance clear of second. That 2nd place going to the UK, although they are still part of the EU. 4 points for an incorrect answer, ain't bad at all. Russia and Norway also bagging 4.
Spoiler Switzerland x11
UK x4
Russia x4
Norway x4
Iceland x1
Turkey x1
Montenegro x1
Kosovo x1
3) Name a climb from Liege-Bastogne-Liege
The outright winner was La Redoute, a truly famous hill. 18 points in the bag for you guys. Cote de Saint-Nicolas second with 4 points. Nothing else scoring more than 1 point.
Spoiler La Redoute x18
Cote de Saint-Nicolas x4
Roche aux Faucons x1
d'Ans x1
Rue Nainot x1
Vecquee x1
Haut-Levee x1
4) Name a type of cloud
Cumulus coming out on top here with 11 points. 5 points for Cumulonimbus. 3 for Cirrus. 2 for Stratus. Everything else with 1. Special mention to knockout for Data Cloud, he's not wrong.
Spoiler Cumulus x11
Cumulonimbus x5
Cirrus x3
Stratus x2
Altocumulus x1
Stratocumulus x1
Data x1
Cirrocumulus x1
Altostratus x1
Ones that make shapes x1
5) Name a type of map
Clearly there was one topic on most peoples minds recently, as Political came out on top with 9. Topographical and Road would score 3. A World map was worth 2. And another shoutout to marcovdw for Treasure Map, possibly my favorite answer ever!
Spoiler Political x9
Topographical x3
Road x3
World x2
City x1
Treasure x1
Geographic x1
Google x1
Mercator x1
Nautical x1
Route x1
Weather x1
Dasymetric x1
Double Bubble x1
So how does all come together for the round? Well only two perfect rounds this time. Selwink and Lakebeach coming out ontop with 71. Bit of a gap to Roturn and Vali on 65, only missing one question. Another single miss for Matt but drops him a touch further back. TMM and Jandal getting the 5's.
You'll notice emre99 is out of position, but his score is correct i just sorted it wrong to begin with.

Onto the Overall Standings. From 5 leaders down to 2. Selwink and Lakebeach lead the pack with 166. Lots of shuffling behind them as leaders dropped and others rose. But given how much things can swing anyone in the top10 or so still has a good shout at winning, given we've got three rounds to go.
Again emre is out of position, but the score is correct.

Shouldn't of picked Russia over Switzerland Have no clue what a political map was though, didn't even consider the possibility of somebody picking something other than world or road Still an alright round with 3 top answers.
btw, Oceania's not a continent, it's Australia And all the x2s except Africa on that question should be x1 right?
Thanks TMM!

Hoyle, as a british person, not knowing that the UK is still in the EU. I failed that as well though. But I wrote in my message: "If the UK is still in it, I pick Switzerland."
