I've looked at all the most important tables of the db, and on a rough glance to each I can't find any oddness. That said, I don't have a copy of the original db of PCM 13 to make a comparison. If you could send it I would be grateful.
That looks like an awesome db so far by just looking at the cdb file btw. Too bad I'm not playing PCM 13 anymore and lost my copy of it. The completeness of it and the research you've done blow me away, especially when it's for a 27 (!) year old db.
Well thanks for your support, Matt17br !
Cycling year 1989 is the first that followed in full (I'm 36 and I come from France, where cycling is well covered for a long time), so the memories are particularly well recorded. I still have some uncertainties about the rating of Spanish minor riders, and I'm desperately looking for the CDS/ZCES of the Wincanton Classic to complete the World Tour.
So I send you another 2013 DB, and I still have two questions (sorry if I already asked you) : would this work be used by another guy for a DB of 2016 version ? And how can i make some riders born before 1960 ?

From an existing variant for my database I created a Wincanton Classic fantasy, if you're interested?

Many thanks, Udoi : this is exactly what I was looking for !
Just take a look at your DB and it is absolutely spotless. Many old races and original new Grands Tours made with steps from race creators. Although (?) I adopted the same strategy to create four singular variants of the Tour de France (which somewhat look like real Tours 89-92 years, with just a little more hilly stages especially in the first week - and even cobblestones stages).
But there's a problem : I can open none of your DB (there are two in the pack) using the Fast Editor. |

If you can't open a db with a fast editor, 99% of the time is because there is a problem with birthdates. Either the month being bigger than 12 (December) or the day bigger than 31. Fast Editor doesn't open dbs with that problem, and to fix it you need to open them in Excel Editor/Lachi's/Full Editor.

So, i tested it in career mode. It seems the 20 GS1 teams are automatically selected in Grand Tours. It's a little disappointment : with only two wild-cards, many italian teams won't be at Giro, including some great riders like Argentin ou Fondriest (world champion). Same thing for other big races so Stephen Roche the superstar, which is at Fagor (french GS2 team), will not do many races abroad.
Remains also the problem with the age : i don't manage to make the oldest riders born before 1960. So the oldest riders are 28-29.
There is also one problem, but perhaps it's linked with my poor knowledge of the game : i took RMO and i immediately planned a stage for the team. I choosed Lucca in Italy, for ten days, but at the end the fitness didn't change. The only rider in good fitness was Eric Caritoux which had three days of flu few days after the stage... Bug or it is normal ?
EDIT : mega-bug spotted : the career did not advance beyond the February 13, 1989 so I had to quit and restart to proceed. And sometimes when I try to export results or simulate a race, it brings me an error page in the Cyanide site.

Hi everyone, I have time again so I go on making the DB.
I found PCM 2006 jerseys so I decided to put more teams : Titanbonifica, Pepsi Cola, Helios, Raleigh-Banana, CM Aubervilliers, and Recer-Boavista.
I added them via Fast Editor and I wanted to use the editor given with the game to create new riders (it's much more simple). But I saw this when i went in the teams section :
It seems it bugs when I try to register the new additional infos. How to fix it ? |

The official editor is horrible and full of bugs - do not use it!

So you mean that there won't be errors in game despite the official editor says ? |

No, the official editor doesn't work and there will be problems in game. You'd better use the Fast Editor.

With the Fast Editor, I saw I could give pre-1960 birth dates to riders, which was not possible with the official (only until 1960). Will there be some bugs in game if riders are born in 1953, 1957, etc ? |

I don't think so. But best would be to test it as I'm not completely sure.

Hi everybody !
There are only two things remaining and i'll release the DB (not sure there will be many people interested but it doesn't matter).
- First thing : the new riders with random names. Because I changed nation names (USSR for Russia, Czechoslovakia for Slovakia, and Yugoslavia for Slovenia), may new riders are called TODOFIRSTNAME TODOLASTNAME. How can I fix it ?
I report a funny thing : by a disturbing coincidence, one of the young riders of one of my games is called Yves Godard. Which is one of the most mysterious French killers in the last thirty years https://en.wikipe...appearance
- Second thing : there are often only two or three teams which ask for a wild-card at Vuelta, so there are only 20 ou 21 teams in this race (WC + 18 GS1 teams). Many spanish GS2 teams never ask for such as ONCE or Lotus-Zahor, although I put the teams in the list of participants in the STA_race, or I put the Vuelta in riders' program for Chozas, Ruiz-Cabestany or Suykerbuyk, or I put spanish races in their favourite calendar in DYN_team. How can I be sure that four teams at least ask for a wild-card in Vuelta ? |

Open local.cdb with Excel Editor or full editor, edit sta_regen_lastname and sta_regen_firstname.

Ah yeah I forgot that was PCM 13
It's located in the xmls folder before PCM 15 and it's a file called regens.xml.

I think for PCM13 regens are still created on the base of xml files, which can be found in Game folder\xml\YoungRiderCarac. For rider names, you need to edit regen.xml.
Now hit the zabel'd everyone

Btw would be great if you used a site like sli.mg, imgur or postimg to host your images, the site you currently use embeds images terribly on forums!

Well, if it all fits, I'll never have to repost a picture in the forum ! But in case I remember your advice.
So, thanks for the answer at point n°1, but a question remains : how can I be sure that at least four GS2 teams ask for a wild-card at Vuelta, in order to have 22 teams especially ONCE ? |

At this point I'm not really sure honestly. You may want to dig deeper into tables like sta_program, sta_program_ino etc., I think I wrote something about it not too long ago so take a look at the forum search
