This is the general thread for the 2017 version of the WorldDB, the follow-up to the highy successful WorldDB, the PCM community's favourite Workshop DB. This DB is the first 2017 database available for Pro Cycling Manager 2016. In this thread you can find out everything you need to know about the DB including the download links and screenshots. Feel free to reply if you have any queries.
There's also the possibility of checking out the official website, [url=www.pcmworld.be]www.pcmworld.be[/url], where we post dialy updates on what's going on with the database. You can also contact us via Twitter through the website.
The database covers the 18 UCI World Tour teams including 2017 shirts for the ones that are announced. Per team, you have national championship shirts for every nation needed. All with the most realistic statistics out there.
Next to the UCI World Tour teams, we also have 21 Pro Continental teams.
And last but not list, we feature over 120 continental teams and still counting! This is one of the biggest features of the database. After all the CT teams are done, we plan on adding amateur teams with appropriate statistics and local races.
And if you're not satisfied with these teams, you can also decide to make a custom team with one of the 100+ custom shirts made by the wonderful community!

We're at a point where the DB is pretty much realtime with the real transfers. So we will keep adapting it to produce a perfect playing experience for the users.

PCMDaily will probably update the original PCM DAILY in some months.. you know I mean?
They will, probably in january/february. So as a proud maker of this, you're better off playing with the 2016 Daily DB or This 2017 DB until they release it. |

We had a pretty big update adding 2 continental teams, 4 races, updating transfers till 17/10 and preparing the installation of 10 more continental teams. Also 20 Custom Shirts were added.

Hi, I'd love to use the database, but I love to tweak jerseys/stats a bit. I installed through steam and though I can use the database, I can't access the database and when i change a jersey it doesnt reflect in game. Are the files for the database and the jerseys somehow located elsewhere ? |

When installing a database on steam, u will have to look in a different folder for the files. Check the tutorial here to see how.

IMO I suggest to wait for the db that will be released somewhere in 2017 - at the moment not all transfers are complete, it's unknown how many WT, PCT, CT teams will be. Just be patient

Well, atleast your DSC picks are better than your advice.  (<= no offense) But FYI, pretty much all the World tour transfers are done if u didn't notice. |

It looks very interresting.
Would have DL this gladly if it had been a normal DL.
Perhaps you could re-think, or stay as a Steam-slave.

I am also a contributor for the project, and unlike any other db, our db has a guaranteed small update every week.(it may be 1-2 days sometimes) That is why using steam is far more useful, both for you guys downloading and us. You would have to check the link everyday but with steams automatic updates, there are no problems in downloading, no technical difficulities happening and no page after page download questions.

Nice list of teams, but why have you included Neon Velo as a CT team and none of the other GB teams?
Neon Velo aren't even an CT team either. They are a UK Domestic Elite team.
