Did you not watch 2016 Paris-Roubaix?

Or the Olympic Road Race, two of the best races ever. Shock

It was a bad parcours and a bad race where they only thing of note that happened outside the final 300 metres was a huge crash where half the peloton was held up because they couldn't pass as the whole route was set with barriers.

Funniest thing is that same exact thing happened in Zolder aswel. And if the whole lap is barriers in Doha than that'll happen again Sunday. Defending champions Freire and Hushovd were biggest victims from those two pile ups. Pfft

What was wrong with 2011?

It was foregone conclusion it would end in a sprint and no matter how much people would try, the route was so easy that it was impossible. 82 (!!!) riders in s.t. Thats not a recipe for a good race.

2016-season is the best season I can remember where I have followed cycling extensively, apart from TdF and Ardennes, really good season. I don't really understand it either. You can mention Flanders and Lombardia as well....

There were plenty of hills - the problem was they had elevation gains of around 20-30 metres.
I guess we like a very different kind of racing then. Pfft Pfft Pfft

but the morons put the feed zone on it so nobody ever rode it fast

Also Giro was pretty awesome, at least these two races + some other cobbled ones (and another green jersey for Sagan + RvV win) makes it a remarkable one. Pfft
I'll be back

The Danish team found out the temperature is constant, but humidity drops over the day. So early starters have an advantage! They can breath more easily with more humid air.

Not at all. I have a problem with when racing gets predictable - be it in the mountains (like this year's Tour), the hills (like the Ardennes every year) or too many flat stages which offers no chances for a potential upset, or, in this case specific case, a route where it was a foregone conclusion it would end in a sprint. Wink
