No more swiss teams in cycling!!! Nope, BMC is considered an american one.
Huge blow for the fans but even worse for young swiss riders! |

Team Roth disbands huge shocker for me as they did some decent work to build up a good PCT team, and did some nice developement with Pasqualon, Page, Jaun and some other guys...the market for additions would've been good this year, but similar to Stölting they suffered from a sponsor that took back their agreement on financial halp which led to debts with 6 numbers. Shame
Their season was mediocre to begin with - along with Verva and Funvic

We know you wont miss him Guido.
But i have bad news for you, Tinkov already said that he will return with another project afte the end of "Froome era" at the Tour. That he will rest now with family and then return to cycling. Lets hope it is true, for those of us who dont have a problem with his honesty and passion for cycling.
Btw. Tinkoff team had a farewell party (without Contador) and Sagan said after it that he is sad to see the end of the wonderful project he was part of for two years. He is grateful to Oleg and says he would not reached the heights he had without him.

Seems the Russian Government/"Fancy Bears" have been doctoring some of the stolen data they have been releasing.

He'll be just in time for the Yates Brothers era at Sky then

Just looked at his results. Apart from San Luis, he finished inside the Top50 just once! DNF'd 13 out of 16 races (including San Luis, which he didn't finish). Certainly one of the worst performances i've sever seen from a WT rider, gg Contreras

Didn't help that he crash out of San Luis with a knee injury. May have messed up his entire season in the end.
Edit: Never thought I'd ever be defending an Etixx rider

I think you will find it say the reports may have been doctored... Of course WADA are going to say that in order to keep some credibility with this. The reaction of certain riders shows that the information was correct enough
You keep clutching at those straws ringo...

Yeah, was going to say something similar. Of course WADA will try to hinder the credibility of those leaked/hacked data...

On top of that, he's said to have had a too hard time adapting to the European lifestyle.

Why am I clutching at straws. I'm passing on some "News in October". I didn't actually say anything for or against the article.
I certainly never said it changes anything. All the people named have used TUEs. There's no denying that (not that it's illegal or against any rules).
What it proves is that these hackers who claim to be doing this purely for the good of sport have actually changed documents to suit their own objectives. I doubt very much WADA would lie and say some of the information has been altered when it hasn't. Why would they do that? Nothing that has been leaked incriminates anyone as doing anything illegal.
Your basically saying that a group of illegal hackers can be trusted more than the world agency for drug testing. Talk about conspiracy theories.

Bad bad illegal hackers always lie, while authorities are always right, as they are paid from taxes and represent us, the honest people of Earth!

So you're saying hackers who are illegally hacking files releasing data to try to justify Russian State Sponsored Doping can be trusted more that a World Governing Body?

No, i dont judge like you do, i am just saying that what you imply (hackers=lie, governing body=truth) is naive and wrong from the base. But it fits in your style.

He definitely was gavirias buddy but he certainly wasn't a Juraj kinda signing. Contreras has shown both in San Luis both last few years in the south American domestic scene he was a good talent. Heck he had good results as an etixx stagiare too.

Juraj actually developed into quality rider, he was maybe the best cobbled domestique this year for his brother...but yeah, it was not like that always especially in Liquigas, he just got better recently.
