League table has been updated to include the Vuelta and ToB results. I think that might be it for this season. Obviously the league will carry on if there are any further races so keep an eye on this thread.
Otherwise it's congratulations to Ian for his devastating win by almost 100 points. He scored points in every single game apart from the Giro. I guess you can add a note to your signature to let everyone know you are the PCMDaily Velogames Champion of 2016 
Hopefully I'll be doing the same thing next year so I'll see you all for the 2017 edition. Please let me know if you have any suggestions however I think the current format worked quite well so it will most likely remain exactly the same.

Congrats to Luis and Gargatouf for their wins.
Thanks Ringo for organising and overseeing this for the whole season, it's much appreciated and has added to the fun. I'm not sure whether there will be a Velogames Eneco or even some sort of Worlds competition too. You just never know whether something might pop up at the 11th hour but if not it's been an enjoyable season.
After finishing second in the blue riband Spring Classics the TdF league win was particularly satisfying and finishing 5th in the overall in that competition was beyond expectation. Some good picks but also an awful lot of good fortune too.
Interesting to see we had 11 different winners across the 13 events and you had to be right up there in the overall in every single competition to have a chance in our mini league, so well done to all.
Into next year I can't imagine either my energy to establish likely form, team roles and priorities amongst teams or that very good fortune will last but it'll be fun trying!

Yeah it was a great addition to the forum this season and looking forward to doing it all again next season. Really enjoyed it. Really glad to finish on a high note and to make it into the top 25. |
