Argh Sad

It's impossible to beat The Dawg. Quintana is really trying, but he won't break Sad

C'mon Nairo, you can do this!

SAMU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only man who matters, getting into some decent legs for him, needs to find similar moves to today so he can make the most of it Grin

Cheeky ride by Talansky there. Ended up gaining time on everyone but Yates Smile

Indeed, quite silly they just let him ride away when he had been struggling but I guess they only care about there 1v1 which is understandable.

Valverde arrives 10'55 later than Gesink. 9'08 to Quintana/Froome. Bye to the 3 top10 challenge

Even if Quintana and Froome finishing together was probably the biggest anticlimax for most, I loved how this stage opened up on Aubisque. Attack after attack, yoyoing Samu, everyone having domestiques in front to help at least in some sort. Definitely better than pure wattage fest of mountain trains. Even Froome wasn't blindly doing his usual shoegazer impression.

I'm glad to see that 3 GTs in one year were too much after all

He attacked before Quintana's first attack, and with nobody pulling in that group, he made a huge gape, arriving with Chaves at the end

Best stage in La Vuelta so far, and by a distance. Kudos to Gesink for finally snatching that victory. On the other hand, Valverde had a day to forget but I think we all agree that his season has been admirable.

The hero of the day to me (altogether with Gesink, of course) has been Yates. He wasn't so far from catching the leading group. And he still can make the podium.

I'm starting to think it's inevitable that Froome will win the Vuelta, unless he catches a fever or something on the ITT day.

Guys, get ready to see Froome 1º and Konig 3º in Madrid
