Bad luck for Rosberg, lol. He f*cked that up proper bad. Just squeeze Hamilton on exit by opening the corner, not by spearing straight onwards with disregard for turn 2. When the Stewards, Lauda, every pundit and other driver says it's someones dault, it's gonna be that persons fault.
Roseberg got spanked last year and now he's trying to be tough and Schumacher-esqe. The problem there is Mercedes are not Ferrari and Roseberg is not Micheal. With 5 wins in the opening 9 races Nico should be cruising but he's on his way to not only blowing the championship but also his seat at Mercedes. No contract for next year yet, another incident like this and Toto will have no choice.

Mercedes have had at least one German driver in every single year of their existence as a formula one team so to say they are not nationalistic is complete rubbish.
Rosberg is clearly only their because he's German. He's at the best team in the world for 7 seasons and has never been World Champion. If a driver from any other country had had that many incidents with a team-mate do you really think they'd still be there? |

He has been at Mercedes for 7 seasons. He has been at the best team in the world for 3 years and twice came second behind Hamilton.
That said, I'm not Rosberg's biggest fan either, but even less so do I like Hamilton.

don´t get me wrong, I don´t say it´s not Rosbergs fault - I just said that it´s bad luck for him to see Hamilton not trying to avoid a crash as Rosberg did so often...
So that´s why I say, he didn´t behave in another way than Hamilton usually does

I suppose it adds a little excitement to what has become a very predictable and boring sport in the last few years
If you took away the Hamilton/Rosberg rivalry there wouldn't be anything left because no other car is competitive enough to be a rival to Hamilton and Rosberg. |

I very much agree with you there :)

It does beg the question of what is the point of teams in formula one? Maybe all of the drivers should just drive as individuals and then this whole thing with team-mates clashing would be avoided.
Maybe the smaller teams could then enter just one car which would make it more affordable and make them more competitive putting all their funds into one car. It would also mean more constructors may be interested in entering.
The bigger teams could also enter more cars if they want. Mercedes could have 3 or 4 cars which would mean more drivers competing for the title.
Just an idea |

One car would make the investement - value relation even worse...but everyone driving on his own is an interesting mind-play..
An interesting thing on a German sports site, which rates the performance of a driver in relation to the car he´s riding and giving points for every race like the real ranking (including Qualifing perfomance and other stuff).
Today´s ranking was:
1. Button
2. Wehrlein
3. Sainz
4. Verstappen
5. Hamilton
6. Rosberg
7. Perez
8. Grosjean
9. Hülkenberg
10. Räikkönen
The outcome after todays stage is the following:

So Rosberg got a 10-second penalty, meaning Verstappen got second and Rosberg drops to third.

It's disgusting how much luck Lewis always has when he needs it the most.

Really bad timing that crash, didn't like that the neck support thing fell out during the crash. Just a crazy start to the race though

I totally agree with you and Lauda, who said, that Max should be sent into
psychiatry, because he said, that he didn't do anything wrong and that he was defending like this because Kimi(!) ruined his race. What a moron. And Kvyat was sent down to Toro Rosso for less.
