Tbf to Fernandez not like he is complete nobody. 3 Avenir winners in the top 5.
Yeah, would be heavily surprised if he didn't get a new contract, even without a good race here. Great rider.
yeah was more of a joke about that contract.
Very similar to Chaves last year really. 25 year old ex-avenir winner with couple decent pro results already breaking through on the big stage.

Quintana is only 17 seconds behind the red jersey. Don't count that freakin' overrated trash out yet |

Froome is beast, alone with a very strong Movistar team, after TDF and Olympics Games.
Quintana and Contador is overrated. |

In the Vuelta Froome looks at his powermeter the whole way up the climb ignoring the other riders, which is terrible for viewers and cycling both, how boring is it that he won't even look up while riding up a mountain, let alone even acknowledge an attack!
Fortunately it's unlikely he'll win a GT doing that given he wasn't going amazing last year with this terrible style (probably due to tiredness from the tour), honestly it makes the Sky train in the TDF look like it has panache.

I believe y'all is forgetting one thing, the rest of them won't even have a look in once Igor Anton fires. You thought Romain Sicard made a return? All fear the return of the 2010 Igor Anton!

Firstly it doesn't work, he hasn't won the Vuelta yet has he? (I'm not talking about the tour strategy, I'm talking about the even more dull Vuelta one).
Secondly, I'm not talking about how effective it is, I'm talking about how boring it is, you can at least show some interest in the race going on around you.

Tbh, I really like the way he rides. It's different and interesting to see, if he can come back.

Watched replay, am I missing something, how the fuck Anton had the same time as Quintana? Not that I'm mad or anything, but still, this Vuelta has some serious timegap problems. |

He didn't. According to the Vuelta website, Quintana arrived 32 seconds after Geniez and Anton, 12 seconds after Quintana. |

froome does this all the time remember vuelta last year(with dumoulin and purito).... its different from the other riders.... he gives everything at vuelta remember the the last week of vuelta 2014? him against contador? if he hasn't the same form as he had in the tour... Would you expect him to ride like he did??? of course he as be cautious because if his engine breaks i might lose a lot of time... contador is old and it will never be the same that's a fact he had much more time to prepare la vuelta and still he gets dropped by froome( the difference contador followed movistar superb attack and froome knew how is engine works ) (quintana is quite overrated that's a fact ( oh sueño amarillo; estoy muy fuerte; mas fuerte que nunca) pls, he has never won a gt from froome and he was boring as fuck all the tour...
its ok he didn't had the form....
so this time froome doesn't has it either... he is building it...
so why are you already saying he is boring....
see the facts different races but the same situation
Lets see what the second week of vuelta brings and the third for froome as he did in 2014
he will probably crack tomorrow lets see |

LOPEZ
RUBEN FERNANDEZ
Contador.. dafuq.
Valverde to win La Vuelta. He might just have peaked right after riding into form in Italy and France. |

If Valverde wins the Vuelta, I'll run around my street half naked. It won't happen. |

Half naked? Thats no bet.
He honestly just might. I know its a long shit, but seriously, there is only one real mountain stage and all the major contenders have flaws. |

I really missed purito in the finish like this. Have you seen his attack on this climb in 2012? None of the current riders could match that power. Purito was the best climber for the steep vuelta climbs. There is no doubt about that. It's a pity he couldn't win at least this grand tour.
Contador.....hmmmm....I do not want to believe that he is old. He is 33.5 years old and looked at Valverde at 36.5?
Froome with his style....that's terrible |
