Shocking performances by Anton on the climbing stages, especially Stage 8...so much disappointement - Kasa with some nice tries but no gains. The only good thing about the recent stages is that Robert is out and Tennant comes closer to a podium
but well - fuck my life Mr. Antón

Zoidl's done really well to limit his losses on this stage and keep his top 10 intact going into the TT. I'm not sure how much time he will gain on it but don't really expect him to gain any more places, but he definitely shouldn't be losing any.
@BBL, I'll send you a PM instead of replying here as there's no point us filling up this thread.

Shame that Santambrogio's missed out on polka dots, but he has worn the jersey for nine stages. What's more- another man in the break!

Theres still a long TT to go, and Delacruz got a massive advantage there. So although the GC-jersey is a big help, I still cant see Garby holding on.
Would still be a pretty good race for Garby with two stages + 2nd in GC++.

Somehow in my head I made the TT into a flat stage, I am an idiot. Thanks for correcting me

I'll just pretend I'm happy with 5th here, still 8th in GC and unlikely to do much better, yay!
Tvetcov better win the last 2 stages or hes gone at the end of the season

Well seeing as Garby has literally the smallest margin possible of a lead to a guy with +6 TT to him, I don't see Garby winning the GC anymore, which is a slight disapointment.
However, two stage wins, 2nd on GC, the KOM jersey, and the White jersey is certainly a fine race for him anyway, perfectly happy with that.
Still hoping Steensen can perform in the flat TT, and Docker can do well in the final sprint stage seeing as some sprinters (including Razzie ) have abandoned.

Well I think him, de la Cruz, Zoidl, Steensen and Tennant should be the 5 fevos for the TT, hoping for Tennant though or a wild Kasa to suddenly appear and save my horrible tour with a stage win...

Congrats to BBL, Garby's rest on Hacecký's wheel in the previous stage making the difference
I couldn't see our red jersey in the favourites group so thought the inevitable bad day for Hacecký had come around. Then realised he was in the green points jersey as de la Cruz was leading both green & yellow, doh!
If Hacecký hangs on to 5th after the ITT he will far exceed my top 10 prediction. Really can't understand how he has managed to get nearly 3 minutes on a rider like Tvetcov, ryant I feel your pain.

TT coming up now. If anyone wonders why the GC leaders have that interface on the screens it's because of some game bug where they wouldn't go away: not because I forget to get rid of them! |

Garby really did try there and I am happy. That should complete our top 5 goal and we get a lot of other prizes as well.
Disappointing performance though by Steensen, seeing as he was basically only here to help in the lead out and perform in this stage, and he did neither. Hopefully Docker can pick up the slack tomorrow.

Cant say the the podium here here was unexpected. Probably the 3 strongest names are grabbing the 3 first spots, nice to see.
Only De la Cruz and Garby racing as good as expected though. Hope Tvetcov and Anton especially will shine brighter in the future races, as both really didnt live up to their potential here.
The minions aswell with another great result, congratz! Really a big difference from how I remember them racing last season

I feel your pain mate
Tennant standing on a podium with these two guys is horrible. How on earth is Posthuma able to finish on a podium? I feel even more bad for Steensen, who should've been the toughest opponent for Tennant. Wasted race days.
Anton on the bright side managed to jump on a podium he only hardly deserved, maybe his brave attack on the first mountain stage was the curse for a semi-happy end. Hacecky unexplainably bad, sad for D2B but 5th might be where he belongs.
All in all the race was a desaster for us. We won't come back with a squad like this I guess.

Fantastic start to the season, When Garby attacked and De la Cruz didn't follow I started to think he has fucked up but patience and then the expected TT to take the GC.
Plus a stage win and possibly another one on the final stage with Guillen. Successful Tour backed up by the gripping reporting
