Archery finishes the men's indivudual tournament
Atletics will start today with various preliminaries for events later today but their are medal events with the women's 10000m event, the men's 20km race walk and the women's shot put final
Boxing has their bronze medal matches in the men's light fly class
Track Cycling has the women's team sprint finals and the men's team pursuit finals discussion thread
Equestrian finishes the Dressage Team events
Fencing has their Men's Foil team event today
Judo has women's +78 kg and men's +100 kg events today, which will end the judo at the olympics
Rowing has their LWT Women's and Men's Double Sculls events, the Women's pair event and Men's Four final but it has been rescheduled
Shooting has the 50m Rifle prone position finals and the women's skeet finals, although the latter has been rescheduled
Swimming has their women's 200m backstroke, men's 100m butterfly, women's 800m freestyle and men's 50m freestyle finals
Tennis will finish up the men's doubles event where Mergea/Tecau - Lopez/Nadal is the final
Gymnastics has the trampoline women's finals
Weightlifting has the Women's 75kg and men's 85kg finals |

a bulgarian athelte (Danekova) is caught on EPO on a unannounced doping check august 1st.
a chinese swimmer (Chen) is caught on a unannounced substance august 7th, day before she got 0,09 off bronze medal

tin-foil hats people are questioning if the track is actually 400 meters long. which seems a little bit farfecthed to me. maybe if we see PR's being broken like this consistantly across the +400m events and not in the -400m events then maybe.

that moment when you dominate an sailing event so much in london that you can't be beaten before the medal races and the sailing union changes the way the points are calculated so that won't happen again. and you do the same thing in Rio as in london despite all the changes

Badminton is really fun to play at least. I started a club at my school for it. It can get quite intense though obviously it's totally different than the Olympics.
