Wow, was not expecting that, but great transfer. The young guns of Orica just got very reliable GT superdomestique and Ardennes co-leader. Orica will be very strong climbing wise...

Wait - didn't Orica had zero tolerance on doping? Kreuziger had bio-pasport anomalies and was accused of using PED while being in Astana.
And honestly he is going to be domestique again. And what are his results in the classics to be considered an "Ardennes leader"?

He won the Amstel Gold Race! But he will have concurrention of Albasini and Gerrans I think. (And Matthews if he isn't leaving)

He won AGR and has few other top10 results there, with Matthews going to Giant and Gerrans getting older, i think he can be best bet.
And i have already reacted on you like three times, that Kreuziger himself says he is okay with being GT domestique, he again speak about that in linked article from Orica site, just read it. 
Yeah, he was accused, by found not gulity (i dont buy it, but oficially he did nothing wrong...)

Riis is quite stubborn with this, he does not acknowledge talent of Baška and Kolář...

Aru has been suffering from a hunger knock since late 2015. With Nibali and Rosa gone, they are looking kinda weak right now. Fuglsang is Fuglsang, mediocre in GTs and decent in one weekers. Aru can potentially do well or even win in the Giro, but Nibali, Landa, Pinot, Valverde (most likely) etc. will be there so it won't be easy. He needs to step his game up from his terrible 16 season. |

I don't actually remember hyping up Carapaz, maybe you're confusing me with someone else but I've heard he's a big talent - first Ecuadorian to race WT, maybe even PCT?
Bennati would be a great domestique to keep Nairo out of trouble on the flat stages, a wily old pro and a great engine on the flat, I remember he was super strong on the crosswind stage in the 2013 Tour.

It really depends what you define as zero tolerance, as long as riders/staff haven't had a sentence for doping all your basing it of off is suspicion. You are not guilty as long as it isnt proven.

A zero tolerance policy, if correctly applied, shouldn't leave room for doubt and suspicion - one of the things that makes Sky's supposed ZTP so hilarious.

Rumours about Lobato to Lotto, its kinda wtf, but I think they see some similarities between him and their last Spanish sprinter Oscaraito. There really isn't place for Lobato at Movistar and he will never get to ride a GT on this team and he isn't a classics riders apart from MSR, so its probably for the better. |
