What does the "Expansion Pack" provide exactly ?

This here "expansion pack" I hear of all the time, what does it do and where do I get it? I've obviously downloaded a DB With real rider names and teams etc. That's it.

Is the so-called expansion just another DB or does it improve the game in other ways ? Is it worthwhile for me to download now when I'm in my second season of career mode ?

That is if I am at all able to play anymore, due to this problem that I've been trying to figure out: https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=45274
I can't play until I figure out the problem. It seems I need help in doing so...

Features of the Expansion Pack v. 1.5 for PCM 2015:

You can probably expect something along those lines once the the expansion pack project for PCM 2016 is done.

These effects, like bug fixes and crashes etc. will they take effect in my save that I have already played for a while ?
Or does it all come in a DB and I will have to start a brand New game to enjoy those benefits??

To enjoy all the changes, as a standard rule, you always have to start a new career, but most of the non-database related addition/fixes can be made us of without needing a new savegame.
