All I can think is that a motorbike rider might have been a little too courageous in that sandwich of people up the climb and crashed into the Froome group.

What did I even just watch
Froome running is perhaps the greatest thing I have ever seen. Probably won't stand and no one was hurt so I guess we can see the funny side. |

tl;dr: Porte is the unluckiest rider ever.

Porte hit the moto which brought Porte and Mollema down, no idea what happened with Froome

Porte crashed into the back of a camera bike whilst attacking (bike shouldn't have been there) and bought Mollema down too

I've been watching cycling for like 8 years now, and I've never seen any shit that weird. What the actual hell!
I can't imagine any of those gaps can stand as is. Froome and Porte were held up crazily and guys like Quintana and Van Garderen were also held up by more motorbikes behind.
Craziest thing I've ever seen in my life.
Should have just gone into the wind!

Should set the time gaps for GC when accident happened like on stage 7. |

okay is it time now to get rid of these idiotic tv motos. you can do the same job with drones now at significantly less cost, and danger to the riders.
I know it isn't entirely the TV motos fault, but still it is a problem.

The big problem for Froome is that he dumped his bike then started running up the climb, you can't do that even if it was a moto/spectator that brought him down

NO. There is no base for that in the rules. It was already scandalous when they did it there.

Not stealing, but a spectator falling in front of a motor blocking everything says Sporza.

We will never forget the day Froome went back to his Kenyan roots to run a marathon up Ventoux.

Froome running, poor guy . Looks funny, but not good in such a big race. In Europe we can think crowd are smart, but they are same everywhere. |
