Coquard should be huge in another year's time! McLay another top 10!

Danish commentator and former rider Rolf Sørensen says with 99% certainty that this definitely is too hard for Kittel. 5-7% on the finish. Also says that its way more hilly the last 80 kilometres than the route map suggests, predicts type like Alapihlippe, GVA, Matthews and even Valverde to contest - Greipel and Cav, maybe too hard, maybe not.

Should be a good an unpredictable finish, but Sagan has to be the big favourite on a finish like that. Lets also remember the stage is 240 km, that will surely take some kick out of the fastmen.
And now comes Rolf Sorensen with little excuses

Nevertheless, impressive how Coquard went around and overtook guys like Sagan and Kristoff.

If Coquard could sprint in a straight line, he'd win all the sprints

Coquard was overtaking him but didn't have the bike throw. Crazy sprint! I'm usually not a huge fan of mass sprints, but so far this Tour they've been very exciting.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Great recovery by Etixx and Kittel after totally screwing up at 3km and losing all momentum at the pinch point. Coquard quickest but too much to do. Greipel looked like a mechanical but was only just holding his own at the time anyway by the look of it.

Yeah not one good leadout so far makes it much better to watch.

Cav was also very quick. Maybe even quicker than Coquard, but he was even more behind.

Rolf Sørensen is why I pay for Eurosport Player. Sure, you get less studio segments and expert guests, but you also get 100% less Rolf Sørensen Smile

If Coq didnt waste so much energy going sideways he would have won though

I would like to hear Greipel comment..he was perfectly placed. Seems like mechanical.

At least he didn't have to stay that way too long waiting for the result.

Didnt seem to have it, doubt it was a mech. Very surprising.

Yesterday he said his gear was too high for the sprint. Looked like he overreacted and went too low today

The story of the Tour so far has to be Rolland haven't lost time yet and is in top-10!

Riis123
Do yourselves than favour and watch the sprint again, Gronewegen came from 25th up to 4th in 400 metres. Hype?!
