Greipel gets Zabel'd. Really nice sprint, though I was pulling for the Gorilla over Cav. By the the way, Greipel was pretty far back with 500 meters to go, he needs to thank whatever Lotto rider popped up and brought him back to the front to even get into the position to sprint for the win.
Kittel flops again after a lot of work by Etixx. Too many speedbumps?

Every sprinter, also Kittel, should be able to win on such a minor rise. He can, just not in this shape. He seems to have fucked his prep up compared to Giro where he was a beast. |

No he did not..Zabel celebrated before the line. Greipel made bike throw over line. |

Stage too long? Boo hoo! If you want to be the best sprinter in the world you have to be prepared to win sprint stages, whether they're over 200 km or not.

Loving a bit of Cav resurgence here, anything was a bonus after stage 1 (arguably that was a bonus in itself).
Etixx train got derailed a couple of times in the last couple of kms with Kittel getting left a bit far back as a result then getting boxed too. He will be back in the hunt soon enough. |

Etixx's leadout doesn't seem as strong as in Italy. They didn't or maybe couldn't stay at the front and got boxed in, AGAIN.
Oh and I wanna point out that Sagan didn't win a TdS sprint stage again! |
