Speaking of Roglic, and also Dombrowski; are there examples of riders with as huge problems as those two guys actually managing to successfully adapt to and learn how to ride comfortably in the peloton? I guess possibly Froome, if the Sky propaganda is to be believed. Machado has never really taken to it, Moncoutie was either off the front or at the back all the way into his late thirties.
I fear those guys might not get over their issues to an extent that makes them consistent enough to challenge for GTs.

Fair point. Will be much tougher though coz the riders seem to be declining from a lower age nowadays.

Lack of Superman López hype is disappointing. Crushed Avenir two years ago, stepped up on the Rettenbachferner last year and has the Vuelta this year as his big season goal. He also seems to be a fairly solid in the TTs, which is always useful.

Never. He was supposed to show off this year, but faded as he always does. Top-10, maybe top-5 at the very best.

After everything that's happened at the Dauphine and in the TdS, despite there being 2 days to go, any changes of opinion for everyone? Anyone we've missed out before who's caught the eye as a potential future GT champion/contender?

According to my career in PCM 15 it will be Gallopin at this years Vuelta with TJVG 2nd Simon Yates 3rd
That said it thought Valverde would win the Tour in 2015 and that the top 10 for next years tour will be Froome, Gallopin, TJVG, Pinot, Nairo, Sergio Henao, Sagan, Nibali, Aru, Alaphalippe which if that happens we are probably in for an interesting tour.

Roglic is still in his first year in the pro peloton, and overall is a very late jumper on the cycling train, I´m sure he´ll get to that point.
Dombrowski might be different (though I´m not sure), but I think he could really become a GT winner once he gets that sorted...

Well PCM 2015 told me that Talansky will win the Vuelta in 2017. He's been on a resurgence this week. Can he actually challenge ever? Probably unlikely but could still happen.

I'd say i agree with the comparison with Valverde. But he has taken big steps this year, he is a type of rider who can specialize into whatever he wants at this age of his career. And his performances this year and especially in the hilly tt in dauphine was pretty impressive.

Nice catch Stromeon and Riis with Lopez. Really did well on the slopes of Switzerland. Have read him being talked up for the Vuelta already. Colombia rattling out another potential GT winner then.
