I don't know about this one. I'm always really skeptical when guys test positive "by accident". However, the fact that the team stuck their neck out and risked reputation/sponsor relations to admit it was their fault does make it somewhat more believable to me.
The Yates twin also comes from a newer, cleaner seeming generation of guys. Maybe I'm just naive?

Probably. But don't feel bad, I fall for it every time, too

Lol 4 months. Not as ridiculous as the Garmin 6-month offseason ban meaning they missed... basically nothing at all, but still pretty funny.

Well, the case more or less ruined his whole season. They might as well had given him 8 months, wouldn't matter. |

He can race again in Pologne so should have a very good second part of the season cause he's still fresh. Shouldn't take very long to come back from 4 months of inactivity.

I'm very much one for if it's found in your body is your responsibility especially if you know it's banned such as this one I get that the doctor made a mistake but surely you would be checking this to make sure , one thing I wouldn't be happy about is if this sets precedent for sharapova's case is tennis though I know that's a different sport entirely.
On a side note 4 months seems completely random any ideas where they have plucked it from? |

It's 100% there'll be an other Dutch champion this year; Niki Terpstra has to skip the National Championships due to a knee injury. https://www.etixx-quickstep.com/en/new...ships/2755

We will never know why he only got 4 months as the UCI have said they have no further comment to make on the case, I always thought the minimum was 6 months but last year a Norweigen by the name of Vegard Robinson Bugge also got 4 months for the same thing so the precedent was set then. The thing that confuses me is that the 4 month ban is taken from when he tested positive at P-N and not from now, he was never provisionally suspended and was free to race but OGE pulled him from racing on their own accord so how does the ban not start from now if he was free to race during that period? By my reading of the rules he shouldnt be allowed to race for the next 4 months so yeah, nice work UCI! Confusing us as always

Quintana and Chaves on the same team in Rio <3
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I've heard some rumours but don't think it's right to mention them as it could just be gossip between the locals down here, all I can say that to the best of my knowledge it's not doping related
Let the guessing commence
It's obviously not something simple like him being unhappy with the team or him being ill as that wouldn't be a big secret.
Has he came out as being gay. That doesn't go down very well in Africa.
No mate it's not the last part and even if it was that wouldn't be a reason to quit the sport, you'd be surprised just how many gay athletes are out there and all you have to do is look at how the Grindr app crashed when the athletes arrived at the 2012 London Olymipics athletes village.
Cameron's issues are private and from what I've heard it was best for him to leave top level Pro cycling now and the team supported his decision, it's nothing sinister or anything like that but it won't be the last time we hear of Cam Meyer in cycling but I doubt we will ever see him back in the top level on the road.

Denmark with a pretty serious bid for TdF in 2019 starting in Copenhagen. You all know what I feel about that, but I wouldn't have a big problem with 3 opening stages like this:
Prologue/ITT - would love to see a 20 km ITT like in 2005 opening.
Stage 1 from Copenhagen to Jutland. They will cross the scenic and extremely long Stxorebælt Bridge connecting Sjælland and Fyn (20 km) with nice opportunities for crosswinds, but this will be a sprinter's affair.
Stage 2 from ? to Vejle up Kiddesvej where Tour of Denmark goes every year and is decides. Pretty demanding terrain, it will be a light version of the stage in UK in 2014, but nevertheless it could be exciting - especially if they go up over Kiddesvej more than just once. 5 laps would be interesting, but unrealistic, unfortunately. |

The presentation for the Grand Depart on english. Monsieur Leth speaking
And turns out I was wrong about the stages, or at least the last stage. Unfortunately, it will start in Vejle and end in Sønderborg, so no Vejle circuits. But stage 2 has chances of being pretty spectacular IMO.
