Mobil dropped by Aeropostal
Shocking news came from Venenezuela today, as the manager of Aeropostal announced that Mobil had been dropped as the team's title sponsor. Both parties have confirmed this subject, with the manager of Aeropostal claiming that he was forced to push Mobil out after the american oil company tried to sabbotage their press release at the end of the season.
As their replacement, comes backing from the venezuelan government, with the manager of Aeropostal claiming that their goal is to become the biggest south american team in the future.
P.S. I still haven't got my jersey....

Well, I still haven't upload any jersey so..
Aidan had a computer failure, and lost the initial draft of the jersey he sent me. He had to do it again from scratch, and he told me I could opt to go to another shirtmaker, which I refused.
I'm still waiting, and I'll wait until SN (or aidan) tell me I need to upload my jersey and the NC jerseys |

Then you are still much further with jersey than Metinvest,as i havent received a response on first request e-mail sent to Aidan some months ago.
If some shirtmakers are reading this and would like to practise their skills on Metinvest jersey, i would be glad. (so i can also make a new HQ without it beaing empty and save Aidan some time, dont know if he started or not).
Sorry for somewhat raping your thread Miguel, good luck on path to become biggest player on south american market.

Yea yea, calm your tits, I'm back in the shirt making business. Just tell Miguel to check his PMs and he'll see a small surprise.

Looking good here.
Interesting to see how our goals clash (America, Andorra, Táchira): yeah, we are going to see a LOT of each other this season! It will be a very rare race where we aren't both taking part I guess! Looking forward to it. |

Mmm nice jersey - I like the swish of the flag on the front in particular. Looks like we're going to be in competition with you in some goal races as well #SouthAmericanMayhem

Transfer Round-Up at Aeropostal
The transfer season has come to a close here at Aeropostal, and we are quite happy how it turned out for us.
Coming into the team, we have only 3 signings: Fabio Duarte, Dario Atapuma and Chiaffredo Grippo.
Fabio Duarte and Darwin Atapuma are our biggest signings for 2016
Fabio Duarte comes in at a wage of 400,000€, and he'll be the leader of the team in the mountains alongside José Rujano. He will focus in races like the Tour d'Andorra and the Colombian Venteaux.
Darwin Atapuma comes at 650,000€ from Indosat - ANZ, at a wage of €170,000, and he should be one of the main helpers of Rujano and Duarte across the season, with the chance to leading himself one race or two.
Chiaffredo Grippo comes from the free agency at a basic wage of €50,000, and he should be the leader in the hills, although we aren't focusing on that department. Grippo will be focusing, instead, on breakaways and helping Duarte and Rujano on the hills, their weak point.
Leaving the team, we have 3 riders beeing sent out on loan: Roniel Campos and Xavier Nieves to In-n-Out p/b Carrefour, and Nervin Jiatz to Chiquita - Universal, with the goal of all these 3 riders continuing to develop in lower ranks to prepare to lead the team in the future; and 1 rider leaving us: Emanuele Rizza, after 1 year, servicing us, with the highlight of a 2nd place in a stage at the Tour of San Luis, will be going back to the CT level with the The Spark Project p/b Bollé team. We wish him best of luck.
This is the full squad (including riders who are loaned out) that will wear the Aeropostal Venezuela Ciclismo shirt with proud:

That mountain squad, is a bit better then mine
But you will suffer when it comes to hills, cobbles(obvious for a south american team ) and partly sprints I think.
Good luck! |

This is such a typical South American team ! I think Rujano might struggle because of all the competition this season, but you have some excellent depth for your guys to be able to race aggressively. See you in Tachira
