I read somewhere he crashed into the team car and went through the back window.
Anyhow I hope he makes it. Same with Stig Broeckx. We've had enough tragedies this season. |

Stig Broeckx still in a coma, they hope he wakes up in a few days.
For some positive news: Peter Sagan is riding the Olympics. Not the road race, but the mountainbike!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

VDP vs $agan, duel of supertalents. Shonak vs Avin, war of super fanboys.

It's impossible to do it in short time. These guys from other disciplines have to start in 15th row 70 riders ahead of them. UCI should fix this

If you want to ride an event at the Olympics it's on you to make sure you know the qualifying procedure and attend enough events to get the job done. If you can't manage that you don't deserve to go, certainly not over people who manage that job just fine.

VDP got the idea after his injury and feeling fresh past the CX season, so he gave it a try. With some more time he sure would have qualified but that's no reason to critize him for it.

Fortunately, some good news about Girdlestone's conditions:
EDIT: On a 100% unrelated note, apparently, there's a Female Secret Pro as well

Considering the amount of whining in the male version, the female one could be a nuclear meltdown

Sagan/Avin 1:0 VdP/Shonak.
Nah, sorry to hear that about Mathieu, but have to celebrate for Peter, i hope he will challenge for top10 at least. I think he will go into suicide mode and either will be great or crash out.

Well, Sagan only rode 2 smaller MTB races yet he gets to ride. |

Here is some info on Sagans "case".
https://www.cyclin...bike-spot/
So he got enough points from czech MTB race and offered his place in road race.
He did a special MTB camp in Utah and will make another special training.

Update Wednesday 8 June 17:30
Since his crash in the Tour of Belgium Stig Broeckx has been kept in an induced coma in the hospital of Aachen for the past eleven days to let him recover from the crash and the surgery he had to undergo last week. That operation was intended to decrease the intracranial pressure. The intracranial pressure has been under control since the operation and the situation is no longer acutely life threatening.
At this moment it is not clear yet what the neurological consequences of the crash will be. These examinations can only take place when the condition of Stig has been stable for a long time. |

Hopefully it would really settle the Henao case once and for all. Idk, but I don't trust Henao. Who else's name might we see mentioned?

There are so many overpowered colombians in recent years, that i would not believe in many of them, bar maybe Quintana, Gaviria and few others, who look like natural talents, but who knows...

Unless you find some direct links, it is how no importance apart from reckless speculation who it might be, so no, it most likely won't.
I would imagine it was the colombian scene, not the high paid colombians in Europe |
