Another step in the wrong direction for swiss cycling 
How many teams are they gonna lose. First phonak(for obvious reasons) then lpr nat. Change, then BMC choose the same path aswell. Do they even have any CT teams left, cant think of any Pct or higher rated teams atleast.

One one hand, I love love to see Caja Rural in all the GT's instead of just the Vuelta (thats a crime), but on the other hand, they are forced to participate in races they couldn't care less for.
They are really talented and has really taken a step up this year, I like their squad and they would make the GT's more fun. |

Novo Nordisk are so much worse
about iam, thetaz says that they could just continue with the same budget for another year but that would mean not having stars and not winning the biggest races and he's not interested in doing that anymore |

Really gutted about IAM, they were getting better and better each year. Guys like Naesen and Laengen could have gone far.

IAM was really one of my favourite teams, loved their squad and their riders and sad to see them go They even had my favourite jersey in the pro peloton, really stylish.
Hope this can have a good side and might mean that another good team can arise in their place.

What, I thought they'd just continue at this current level and that they didn't need a co-sponsor, only if they wanted to get bigger. In the end I guess the lack of really good results is what killed the team. They are like really bad when it comes to GT representation. Even Rusvelo is better than them.
World Tour reduction is imo good idea. Motivated PCT teams to add numbers and fight to WT events in large mass should make the GTs (even) better in general.

I really liked IAM. The whole squad was really cool despite lacking a top-top guy. Their look was something all PT teams can learn from - so sleek and so stylish. I'll miss that.
At least the management has been clever and made the decision early in the year. This way the riders have more time to secure contracts instead of being left high and dry at the end of the season.

Stig Broeckx has a slight brain swelling at the moment. Doctors have put him in an even deeper coma than the one he was already in, hoping to shield his brain from any form of stress in order to reduce the swelling in a natural way. Atm they really want to avoid brain surgery.
