Looks like Etixx switched difficulty from hard to easy |

Greipel got a bit lost there not sure if he even ended up sprinting. But what a dominant performance from Skittles that was, even with Etixx not getting their leadout quite right

The other sprinters needs to pull out something special to beat Kittel, if this is how he sprints this Giro. |

Urrrgh! Why do sports persist in having podium girls? It is so so so outdated

Because it looks nice. The majority of viewers are male.

If you want to look at women then there are plenty of ways to do that, podium girls are something we should of moved passed by now

I don't think it's bad. If the girls are happy doing it, they should be able to do it. It doesn't hurt anyone.

Because it's tacky and outdated in today's world, what is the point of it? Tradition isn't a good enough excuse to have podium girls.

I don't agree but I will leave it be, no point arguing this with a group of young males

I simply can't understand the point. I'm nowhere near "politcally correct". My dad is the same opinion about podium girls/grid girls. Back then, when we had the Tour of Germany going through our town, my dad had a talk with one of the podium girls.(he was making a photo with her) She was really happy to be part of it. She said, that fans want to have photos with her, she earns good money and she gets respected and loved by all the people around. It's not important for me, to have them, but as long as its ok for them, why not? Only because some (warning: stereotypes incoming) fat, ugly tank of a woman in front of her TV screen feels triggered.

Paying and rewarding people because they look good just seems like an illogical idea to me

Let me rephrase that: Models need jobs too to keep them away from Alak.

I dont know why you have a problem with it either, Strydzi. I respect your opinion, but on this matter, I just dont get it I mean, these girls get a good, well paid job for 3 weeks and we get to point out to our friends 'damn, that gurl is hawt'. Win-win, I see no reason to change that fact unless Sagan wins everyone race and jersey. |
