reserved the Tour of Britain posts, so that the show can go on with the next races
ToB will come either late today or early tomorrow, when I´m back at the PC from where I can post the resuts for the already ridden stages...
what I can say is that it was the most enjoyable race I´ve ever raced for ICL so far

Stages 6 & 7 of the Vuelta are next up, including a brief visit to Gibraltar and a brutal climb up the Rock.
https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1156068
Spoiler If Moses had just followed Chavanel instead of Bookwalter, he'd have won the stage.
And yes, the breakaway made it again. Mainly because the stages are just too hard for the sprinters' teams.
All good so far for Tejay. He's avoided all the crashes and he's staying alert up at the front. Blocked a bit by Ghyselinck on the narrow climb but he got straight back to the front with Mollema.

Hmm, Kwiat is taking quite a gap already, let's see when he will collapse.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Like I said, Kwiatek is a,dark horse. This was a stage that should have suited Purito, hmm sigh

Arch rivals Spilak and Coppel rumoured to be involved in a punch up at La Vuelta. Not satisfied with taking out a rival Coppel then proceeds to crash into a teammate!
Coppel's future in the team has been put in doubt by these antics, can he redeem himself?

Yes Chavenal! Giving us our first win aside from his KOM earlier in the season (also making up for those points on Alitalia)!
Unfortunately PCM can't give us a gift without marring it with pain, De Gendt is now over 6 minutes down after his crash.
Thanks for the fast reports brewers

A shame for Monfort and Caruso to loose time already. Still I have hopes that with some luck a top 10 for one of them is possible.
Kwiatkowski already with a 1 minute lead, I wouldn't be surprised if he could hold on to at least a podium.
Vandewalle in a stage winning break, but unluckily just caught, but at least he gets still one ranking point.
Looking forward now to the upcoming mountain stage up Pico Veleta. |

You're in luck then. The small matter of the 40km climb up to the 3300m Pico Veleta next up, as well as stage 9.

Spoiler Erm, yeah... It's either feast or famine with PCM15 apparently. It would help if it wasn't the same riders in the breakaway every day. Great for SAP and Alitalia. Ridiculous for everyone else.
Good fun on Pico Veleta. Nobody went with VDB for some reason but behind that it was very interesting until Rodriguez and Fatancur got away. Happy with TVG so far but he needs to gain a lot of time in the upcoming ITT if he wants to finish on the podium

That profile oh boy
Big jump for Purito up the ladder, unfortunately VDB could become our new menace. It's good that Mochema and Van Garderen were distanced tho, imo they are better riders than VDB. With Purito already on second, we may be able to isolate the fight to a mano-a-mano but first we'll get a beating at the Time Trial sigh.
As per usual, thanks a ton brewers

Apparently, I ran out of space in the post for the youth and team rankings. A bit strange (and annoying) but you'll only have to wait until tomorrow to see. Unfortunately, I don't have the rankings any more. But there was no major changes from the day before obviously.
Here's a pic of the breakaway:
Barbin - Chavanel - Clement - Atkins - Jauregui - Quintana

Mollema a complete disappointment here. Kenny Ellisonde, domestique to Kwiat is doing better than he is. Time for a Landis!
And how the f does Goos finish ahead of him?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

The head-to-head between Alitalia and SAP is rather amusing to follow btw

Thanks brewers. The post limit seems to be a problem in GTs, just shorten the points and KoM rankings.
Awesome 5th by Monfort. Caruso also still decent positioned and Khozhatayev still hanging in there great.
I'm surprised by all the breakaway wins so far. Carbonsports with a weird tactic sending someone into the break despite having Kittel. |

*Jauregui-Kittel 1-2
Wasnt PCM supposed to dislike breaks ?

Just an awful race for Saeco so far at the Vuelta - I was intrigued to see how Spilak would have got on... but he is of course now well out of contention.
Meanwhile not a lot else happening we are going for breaks but don't really have the depth to carry it off.
