I would like to create some stages again and noticed there are many settings now, one can select during creating. Like the composition of the fields and woods. One can choose which tree and field species are there. I really like this option, because it would give an unique look to a stage. If it would work for me.
But the editor doesn't save the settings. Even when I export the stage right away it gets exported without the manual adjustments.
I have to ask, is this a bug or do I have to do anything else to get them safed?

Fear its is buggy, had the same result. Looks good in the editor and seemed like a nice new feature, but didn't found a way to translate ingame, too.

Feels like an appropriate thread for this question:
Having a problem with the podium view after the stage runs.
My stage has a podium, passes the "check stage" routine and exports and runs fine but crashes when you go to podium view after the stage. Thoughts on what I should check? |

Had similar issues a few times when...
- making stages with different computers
- working on or converting stages from PCM13 or sooner
- have DBs installed using different podiums
In most cases it helped to delete the current podium...
(Podium --> press 'select' under Podium parameters --> press delete on your keyboard when you see the podium selected in 3D view)
...and place a new, cummon one.
(Podium --> select 'Cummon' if not pre selected and make a right click somewhere in 3D view)

Thanks will try that. Did something similar already so not sure it will work.
It is a stage I brought forward from pre-2013, But added tons of stuff to it will be really annoyed if I can't fix it. |

Didn't wanted to open a new thread, but is there a way to re-select finish in the stage editor? What I'm trying to do is a MTT but I accidentally selected Finish as mountain which the game simply understands as a normal stage.
Thanks for the help.

After selecting any object, you can delete it by pressing del.
However, I think it should work with a mountain finish too, the problem might be elsewhere.

It doesn't work with mountain finish. A setting in flat finish is Mountain TT, a function which isn't there for mountain finishes

CTRL+T is for deleting a whole family of objects, like if you want to delete the whole road or a forest for example.

Ok, I didn't know that. The last MTT I have done must have been with PCM 2011
