That must be the single greatest TTT from a Spanish wildcard at a GT, no?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Paying tribute to Brewers once again...I virtually kneel down and kiss thy dainty hoof.
Nothing much to say about opener, though bikex (also thanks for nice previews) previews do hint on hope for Saeco to climb rankings.

No
Congrats brewers on the close TTT win over UNHCR. This is the first ICL GT not reported by me, so it's nice to see this from a new perspective now.
5th is a decent result for Italo on the first stage.
This Vuelta surely has to be Purito's. I can't see him not winning this, but that's also what I thought last season. |

4th is a good-one for the Magnificent Unicycle Stunt Troupe!
Though you have to wonder how well we would be doing with two wheels !! |

By the way, does Brewers reporting mean we won't get video's from the Vuelta?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

At least our dreadful performance made someone happy
Sadly our lack of depth in our first WT season has been totally exposed. Will be pleased to get any points here.
Thanks again to Brewers, hope this grand tour is enjoyable to run.

I think he could play a lot of catch-up due to the Time Trials. Mochema & Betancur are also only slightly worse in the hills than Purito, whilst Van Garderen is a an allround beast.

Boy, our win table may be good but we are clearly to little inside the Top 10 in comparisons to other top teams, probably because we clearly lack fast sprinter legs.

So, making a late comeback to ICL reporting, Cigar City Classic is up
https://pcmdaily.c...st_1156170
Spoiler Very selective race on a circuit, which meant that a ton of riders got overlapped
I havn't got the equipment files yet but had some time on my hand so I thought it's better to start right away, hope you guys won't mind the 90ies peloton look.

Thanks Shonak, don't worry about the missing Equipment.
Nice winner. Thanks to my WinStats File I uploaded yesterday I can now say that is his second Top 10 result this season and at the same time his second win.
Also decent performance by Pintzopoulos who until now rather struggled in cobbled races at CT level. |

Looks like Brambilla could actually threaten in Quebec and Montreal. Not big races, but at this point any result would be nice. My goal at this point is to just not come dead last in the rankings, though it seems an insurmountable points difference is in my way.

In theory a selective Cigar City should have been perfect for Senechal. In reality Geyer looks a lot stronger than him in many ct races.

Stages 2 & 3 of the Vuelta are now up, including the first uphill finish of the race. Not exactly the Angliru though.

Spoiler Not sure about losing the leader's jersey despite not losing any time, especially after how hard Taylor fought just to stay with the lead group over the climbs, but that's just the rules of cycling I guess.
Our pass the leader's jersey contest was stopped after just one round. Such a shame.

That 12th place by Moser doesn't bode well for the rest of the race.

Kwiatek could be a dark horse for GC (or at least keep the jersey for a long time..)
Solid result for Purito.
Thanks for brewers
