Do you like cobbles? I hope you do because we have the Ecopetrol hell of Eneco Tour now up. First three stages weren't that hard though, even with the Bosberg making two appearances on Stage 2.

Spoiler Sagan can go and suck cocks in hell.
At least we're raking in the points so far.

Couldn't squeeze enough race days out of my squad for a chance at the Eneco Tour so good to see Rathe in the break - hoping he can repeat his recent podium place.
Two focus races coming up soon for my team so the tension is rising ...
Thanks again to Brewers, doing a fantastic job keeping ICL trucking on

The cobbles that were part of the stages so far not hard enough, which should change in the coming stages and Italo should be more at the front then. So far the only good the top 10s by Vandewalle and Viviani. |

Stages 4 & 5 of Eneco are up now. 6 & 7 will be up later. *Tense music kicks in*

Spoiler 2 things: The AI does not like this many cobbles. Nothing happened on stage 5 at all. Probably because it was just too hard.
Secondly, you have no idea how hard it is to get my control team to the line inside the time limit. I'm having to micromanage their effort and they still have no green bar left with 30km to go.

https://prntscr.com/ao2ara legit lol
Anyway, Oss doing okay I guess? Quite limiting the loss is exactly what he's supposed to be doing right now. Let's prefer for a massive SAP gain now though in 6 and 7...

Stybar inside Top 10 is good for now but unfortunately I don't see how he'll make up much more ground here but rather lose eventually some spots now.

Rathe crashes and the very next day goes one better than a podium and bags us a jersey (KOM), obviously the hard man of the team.

Q. V.Asbroeck, why did you lose time on stage 2? A. To win from a break on stage 4!
First breakaway win of the season for us, hoorah! Another top race for us no matter what happens, though I do hope Langeveld secures another top 10 in the GC.
Got to think SAP are probably safe with a great GC here, can they get it?
Our stage win really did put the pressure on Italo, and to their credit they responded with a 1-2. Great to see so much fight in the title battle!
Interested to find if we will get any big time gaps in the last stages. |

Terpstra riding decently, need that final push from him to collect some points here and bring us (hopefully) a significant amount above the relegation battle.
Thanks for the results brewers.

I <3 u too!
Sagan is a fucking beast! Winning the prologue (!!!) , crushing the Bunzl hopes and still leading the GC despite a crash inside the last twenty km on a super selective stage is massive.
Kristoff and Greg in super position as well with Senechal also good placed in the youth ranking
This just have to stay like this the last stages and CarbonSports will leapfrog some ranking rivals

The rest of the race is up now.
Spoiler Yeah, this was not the exciting race people hoped for. Sagan getting the leader's jersey at the start was the worst thing that could happen. A bit like Rosberg disappearing at the start of a GP.
Thomas did the sensible thing and sat right behind the black train of doom for the entire week. Delighted with the GC result, not so much with how we achieved it.

Nice to see Navardauskas get a Top5 due to the break but Stybar still not doing anything and like I predicted, he finished outside Top 10 sigh I guess this is the last cobbled race Illes Balears has to attend this year, might as well admit defeat in adding another scoring-branch to our team.
Once more thanks for the great coverage!

Speak for yourself ffs
Anyway, saying we limited the loss is an understatement, Oss wasn't as good as he should have been in the GC but we still got some Top 10s here and there which is actually decent. Thanks for all your work Brewers :3

3rd place, I'll take that. It gives us a good month, thanks Brewers!

The empire strikes again. Those gay Bunzl dudes are no match for Sagan who completes a wonderful race which was as good as hoped.
Especially cool is the 1-2 in the points classification as I can not describe better what this team is about.
Erm, are you 12?
As far as I know, none of my riders are homosexual and I'm not completely sure it would make any difference if they were.

No, it doesn't. Was originally going to make a reference to your earlier spoiler "suck cocks in hell" but decided against it and deleted that and must have missed that part

8th for Terpstra, he did go for it on stage 6 at least but it's a shame we couldn't at least get a top 5 - I was hopeful for the win there.
Looks like the whatever points we can pick up at the Vuelta should be key to relegation, just hoping De Gendt + Our slight lead is enough.
Thanks for the race Brewers!

A Ho Ho! Our first ever team title.
And, yes, what a race for the team. Everyone pulled themselves there, Lemoine was the only one not to finish in the top 10stage or top 15gc - and he was in a good break.
This was a race which Italo could have put hundreds of points into us, they didn't, thrilled with how we have taken the cobbles this season - definitely have a base to rival knockout/bikex there for ICL17 maybe!
I re-watched the ICL Tour of Flanders - still can't get over how Debusschere rode the last 10 KM at an average of probably 55 km/h ...
