I made a "small" adjustment to the route. I saw that the game sets the rest day after the 16th stage, which allowed me to something different than orginally planned. The stage to Isola 2000 coming now as the 17th stage, and the the coming stage in between, as the 15th.
So remember, the 15th stage finished in Manosque. Originally we were heading to Saint-Andre-les-Alpes, but now we're staying in Manosque...

Stage 18 - Roquebilliere > Barcelonette
Welcome to another stage in the Alpes. Today's up and down is leading from Roquebilliere, a small town southern Isola northern to Barcelonette. On the way are five mountain passes, one 3rd category, three 1st-category and one HC-category climb. At first it's the Col Saint-Martin, 15 kilometres at 6 percent, although the second part of the climb is way steeper. Then it's the Col de la Couillole, 16 kilometres at almost 8 percent, steep and steady. From there it's comparatively easy to the Valberg. But then there come two further climbs, both 1st category. Col des Champs with 16 kilometres at 6.5 percent and the Col d'Allos 13 kilometres at around 6 percent. Once the last summit is climbed the riders must overcome the dangerous descent to Barcelonette, where the time is taken at 7 seconds.
I want to give my thanks to grebiere and toto, for the southern alpes template I used for this stage. It was a great help.

This is great work and really looking forward to this Tour and will be interesting to see which sprinters can survive each day to be in shape for the final stage and a great test of the REC stat for them.

Nice stage design, would love to see a stage like this using the lesser-spotted southern Alps in the real Tour! Great work as always, looking forward to the climax of the race

Thank you, both. It's true, the Tour isn't - or better staying - so often in the southern area.

Very good
I'm not fan of the ITT IT me remember 2013 one
for the Mont Ventoux. Is not original but you arrive to do a stage "interessant" and original (I don't know what's the word en English sorry ) |

Thank you. It may be not the groundbreaking idea, but I think it makes sense. There wasn't much room in the southern area for more stages, so I did want to move the route northwards. And with the finish, the small climb, and the slightly uprising road it's not that boring after all. So I'm good with the time trial, but yeah, it could have been more spectacular, I know that.

Thank you. I've uploaded it to the Stage DB as well and for those who want to get the complete picture with info, links, route and profile again, I made a post at the start of my thread: https://pcmdaily.c...st_1151649

Nothing specific at this point. Thinking about doing some variants of the World Tour Stage Races or a Vuelta or Giro... I don't know.

Well done on creating another Beautiful Tour Variant. It's nice to have you back stagemaking again as you always made nice looking stages very quickly.
If you are open to suggestions on what you want to create then...
I'd like to see a Tour Variant that has a Prologue, a monster 50km+ Flat TT between the Pyrenees and the Alpes and a MTT as stage 20.
A Tirreno Adriatico Variant that is designed to give the Sprinters and Classics men a GC chance similar to how the Early 2000's ones looked or to how this years one played out once the Mountain stage was cancelled would be nice as well.
An Eneco Tour variant with a nice mix of Cobbled and Hilly stages would aslo be nice.
I've currently got 2010-2015 versions for every world tour stage race except 2014 and 2015 versions of the Eneco Tour (unless they aren't there because they were the same as previous years) the 2015 version of Poland and the 2011 Tour de France.
If those ones I'm missing are somewhere on the forum please can someone point me in the right direction as to where to find them.
If not then it would be nice to have those gaps filled in if you want to go back to making historic variants like you used to, then I can worry about how up to date the graphics on each of them look later and if any need updating because of spectators across the road issues or anything.

Does anyone know if we have a 2004 TDF variant anywhere? If not, that could be a good project to take up as it has a prologue, TTT, flat ITT and a MTT, as well as some challenging mountain stages. |

Thanks Matt, you've made me realise that I have that one in my PCM14 folder but not my PCM15 one, think I'm still missing 2014 and 2015 versions of the Eneco tour and the 2015 Tour de Pologne.
Having checked back through the stages I had on PCM13 and PCM14, In terms of TdF variants if I can find 2001, 2004 and 2007 then I'll have every year since 2000. I think most of them have been made by Bigggassi which shows great dedication to recreating the routes of previous years.
