I still see Å tyby as by far the best bet for Etixx chances at De Ronde, along Terpstra and Trentin. Boonen is shadow of his former self for me, maybe he can do something in Roubaix, but not at De Ronde i suppose...
Trentin should be helper at Ronde, and nothing more. Too many leaders don't help Etixx. They need to narrow it down and focus, use their numerical advantage to strike and make their opponents weaker. With their musketeer-strategy, all they do is to dick around and fail.

They should go for it from far out and sent everyone on the attack.
Maes, Martin and Vandenberg from about 70-50 km out.
Trentin, Boonen and Terpstra from 50-20 km out.
Save Stybar to try and follow Cancellara and Sagan on Kwaremont and Pater. Which he did during E3.
They have no reason to wait. If they do they'll be doing a TTT once again on the big road to Oudenaarde.

Cmon Spartacus!
I would cheer for Sagan if Cance doesn't win. Also ît would be very cool if Tommrke or one of Rowe,Kwiatek duo wins. |

Kwia just won E3. Stannard just said they will ride in support of Kwia. Kwia is the bookmakers 3rd biggest favourite. If you had just said a better bet, I probably wouldn't have responded, but by far? Lulz..... |

Yeah I have to agree, Stannard is the better bet and would get more leeway as Kwia will be a marked man but to me Kwia certainly has the class to handle RVV

It's my opinion
I just don't think Kwia is that good on the cobbles. Yes, he won E3, but that was mostly due getting on the right attack and a point where it wasn't the hardest part of the route. No need to claim lulz... :/ |

I actually rewatched Kwaremont and you are right, Kwiatkowski was in trouble. But I think its a safe bet he will be their protected rider/riders when Rowe and Stannard has said in the medias that they will help him and Thomas and go for Roubaix themselves |

One of the hardest races in the world.
18 hellingen.10 of them cobbled.Plus 7 cobbled sections as well.255 kilometers long.
The race starts in Brugge.
After 80 km of flat we come to Huisepontweg.A cobbled sector of 1600 meters.A new addition to the race.
Then we climb Oude Kwaremont for the first time at km 103.
It is 2.2 km long with only average percent of %4,2.
But it doesn't tell the truth. With bits of %11 it and being cobbled all the way it will hurt the riders. It has been on the route since 1974 and in 2012 it came to the very key point in the race.
Then it is time for Korteker at km 114.It will hurt the legs a bit more.1km, average 6.5%, max 10%
Then comes hellingen number 3.Eikenberg.1.1 km long with an average of %5.7 it may not seem hard but this climb is cobbled as well and also includes bits of %10.It will hurt the legs a bit more. And the race is getting harder.
Then for hellingen n4.Wolvenberg.645 m long.7.9 average percent.But %17.3 max.
Then comes another cobbled sector.Ruitenstraat.Length is 800m.
Onto another cobbled sector. The Kerkgate, the 2.5 km cobbled section made famous by the Tour of Flanders. And sorry to break it to you, while this is a cobbled sector and not a berg there is still a gentle rise of 55 meters or a 3.5% gradient.
Another cobbled sector.Jagerij now.Length is 800 m.
Time for Molenberg.Hellingen number 5.And cobbled. In the old editions this climb was pretty crucial. Avg. 7% - Max. 14,2%
Then Paddestraat.Another cobble part.
Then time for another cobble part.Haaghoek.
Then time for Leberg. In the old editions this climb was pretty crucial just like Molenberg. But now it is early.950m long - Avg4,2% - Max 13,8%
Then comes Berendries.900 m long - Avg. 4,7% - Max. 14%.
Then time for another climb.Valkenberg.540 m long.Avg 8,1% - Max. 12,8%.Some riders are suffering by now.

Then time for Kaperij.1000m long - Avg. 5,5% - Max. 9%
Then comes Kanarieberg.1000m long - Avg. 7,7% - Max. 14%
Then a flat part to offer the riders some more rest. But now we are hitting Oude Kwaremont for the 2nd time.
Then comes Paterberg for the first time.Only 360m long but with average percent of 12,9% and Max. of 20,3% some riders are gonna sufer badly. And cobbled as well.
Shortly after we enter the legendary Koppenberg.600 m long.%11.2 average percent and %22 maximum.Absolute hell.Narrow.If you want to survive you need to be within the first riders.A rider will come very near to his maximum there. He will be suffering horribly.
"I told the organisers it wasn't a race but a war game. It's hard to explain what the Koppenberg means to a racing cyclist. Instead of being a race, it's a lottery. Only the first five or six riders have any chance: the rest fall off or scramble up as best they can. What on earth have we done to send us to hell now?" – Bernard Hinault
After the legendary Koppenberg comes Mariaborrestraat.Cobbles of 2km.
Time for hellingen n14.Steenbeekdries.700m long - Avg. 5,3% - Max. 6,7%
Now comes Taaienberg. In other name, the Boonenberg.530m long - Avg. 6,6% - Max. 15,8%.A rider is past his limit. He is now only gonna do it with the cheering ands screaming of the fans.
Now comes Kruisberg.2500m long - Avg. 5% - Max. 9%.Only 450 meters of it is cobbled though.Last year Terpstra and Kristoff attacked and they were never caught with the latter winning.
Coming to the final now though.Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg. The rider has cracked.he is almost thinking of getting of his bike. But the specators cheer.Everyone has gone mad.the rider just manages to continue
In 2012 Ballan,Pozzato and Boonen went away on Kwaremont and were never caught with boonen winning.
In 2013 Cancellara and Sagan went on Kwaremont and caught Roelandts. In Paterberg Cancellara dropped them and took the win.
In 2014 Cancellara and Vanmarcke attacked on Kwaremont. They caught Vandenbergh on Paterberg and GVA just a bit after with Cancellara winning the 4-man sprint.
After the Paterberg there is only 13 km left. Most of it on flat road. When the rider arrives the finish line he will be a hard man.A very hard one.As he has completed one of the hardest races.
EDIT:Kirchen,your profile is outdated.

Nice work. By the way I believe they don't do Karel Martelstraat now that they added Jagerij and skip Holleweg.

Hehe, nice preview, just watch the typos
Only one small change from last year, Jagerij replaces the more famous Holleweg.
I expect the first action at Haaghoek-Leberg, it's one sector really, downhill cobbled section that starts rising untill the top of the Leberg. The Koppenberg will open the final.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Benoit said he knows he will get distanced at Oude Kwaremont by Canc is he goes 100% (or even 90, probably..), so he will attack beforehand. |

If I have enough time, I'll do something for Paris-Roubaix like last year |
