Match Day 4, and the last one before the Round of 16 in the Butler Cup! Everyone could use a confidence boost right now!
AbhishekLFC | vs | marcovdw | 9 | | 11 | 9 | | 2 | 2 | | 7 | | | | Luxemburger | vs | weirdskyfan64 | 6 | | 0 | 9 | | 0 | 5 | | 0 | Vali | vs | sammyt93 | 4 | | 2 | 13 | | 16 | 3 | | 2 | | | | selwink | vs | jihardy | 8 | | 7 | 4 | | 12 | 8 | | 1 | trekbmc | vs | jandal7 | 13 | | 14 | 1 | | 4 | 6 | | 2 | | | | lakebeach | vs | jaxika | 10 | | 1 | 0 | | 8 | 10 | | 11 | matt17br | vs | Marsupilami | 2 | | 7 | 12 | | 13 | 6 | | 0 | | | | SSJ2Luigi | vs | knockout | 11 | | 2 | 9 | | 14 | 0 | | 4 |
First Cup day and you immediately see some new tactics. League leader Matt is already out the cup after Mars' revenge. Knockout finally takes a victory, much deserved so, let's admit. Going onto the Quarter Finals are marcovdw, Luxemburger, Vali, selwink, jandal7, jaxika, Marsupilami, knockout.
Match of the Week: After being beaten for the first time in a long time, Vali didn't let his head hang. He fought back and how. An incredibly tense match, where sammyt93 vowed to beat the World Champion. The second set was the climax of the match, and oddly so sammy's win. The last set was lower, but a one point difference gave Vali the overall victory.
After Match Day 7, we'll have the Quarter Finals. These are the fixtures for then:
Marsupilami | vs | jaxika | knockout | vs | Vali | selwink | vs | marcovdw | Luxemburger | vs | jandal7 |

I went away... forgot to put my High Risk in... deeply sorry... at least we won't have any unnecessary distractions during the run-in...
Disclaimer- Most of my posts are me thinking aloud. And most of what I think is rubbish.

No problem.
I thought it was a tactic. Concentrate fully on the League |

it doesn't change the result which means I still need to find a way to take revenge.
I thought our first encounter would result in me finding a tactic to beat you in Knockout competition but I couldn't manage it, wouldn't be surprised if you won this to keep your undefeated in knockout competition record intact.

Yeah and you've got the chance to do it immediately in the next round, which kinda scares me a bit.
Seriously though I'm not as confident as you are in me winning in a knockout phase again, because the amount of luck I've had is just insane. I've had a look and lots of times my "winning tactic" wouldn't have hold up against most opponents in the same round or a switch in my sets would have had me losing as well.
In a knockout phase you can't allow yourself to have one bad match though so it can be over very quickly.

Yes, sorry I got that mixed up. I can change it but on the wrong computer now, might still change it tomorrow. Since it doesn't influence the result it's not that important, though
Good for noticing, I urge everyone to take a quick check every time. I process 16 of these results all the time so I'm bound to make mistakes. Sorry that happens |

Match Day 4, and the last one before the Round of 16 in the Butler Cup! Everyone could use a confidence boost right now!

Knockout started winning and continues on that streak. Vali takes a relatively easy match and thus keeps an option open for the League Title. Jaxika draws and might lose important points at the lead.
Match of the Week: Matt opted for a "safe" 2 points instead of going for 3. He has 5 wins, an impressive feat in this League. The only other player undefeated is jaxika, who matt left behind now, with one point.
