The statmakers for the CT teams have been busy with exactly these kind of riders and the March stat update will show these improvements.
Riders like Dupont are constantly being updated BUT the real issue with some of these CT riders, is deciding the right stats for them. If they're too powerful they're too strong for the other CT riders but if they're not strong enough they can't keep up with the WT level riders. So a juggling process is needed when doing stats for these riders.

Well, to make them not to pwerful I suggest that they are messured inside their own team. In this Norwegian case he shouldn't be among the worse sprinters but in the top of Team Joker. Then of course you have to see if the present top sprinter is too powerful.
That's a different matter, isn't it.
If they start lighting up the finish line in sprint after sprint, then they should be lifted a bit higher, and be compared with similar sprinters they defeat.
I'm sure you got this in hand mate, since others like Baska looks good in Tinkoff (perhaps a slight plus) and so Looij for Roompot.
The issue often with Cont teams which are hard to messure. A glimse on their websites often reveals their own ideas on who is good at what.
Then of course some of the website I suggested covering young riders helps.
Looking forward to March update then. Keep the good work going

Rudy Barbier with an upgrade after winning Cholet - Pays De Loire?
Either in stats or potential?
Won the mass sprint (peloton of 25), but not exactly sure what happened there since Coquard and Van Staeyen aren't even in top 10 but in front group. |

strange race indeed, especially with Yssad finishing that high after being in the break the whole day...

Sagan should have 84 acc. the reason he always makes it to 2nd is because his acceleration. He is sitting on the weel on a good sprinter often kristoff, and when he begin to sprint he manage to get just centimeters away from the 1st, so definetly a 84 or even 85 actually, and conta maybe 80.
But for now we have to wait and see what happens in catalonya

Seems to me like that's why he is 2nd so often is that he lacks absolute acc. He sits in the wheel thanks to excellent bike handling etc, high speed racing... But at the moment he should come out, he lacks the accelaration.
He packs an amazing punch, though, don't get me wrong. But 84? Personally I don't think so. |

Using 84 as a stat on something like ACC is a bold choice and may lead to Sagan doing some super things............. like finishing 1st in a sprint. Best left at 83 for now.
The simple fact is that Sagan is not a specialist but good at a lot of things, so really hard to get him right.

Have seen sagan in his sprints? His 2nd places is because of bad decisions but also his good acc. He starts the sprints when its just like 40-60 meters left to the finishing line. He sits on the wheel a long time and starts the sprint too late, but his acc his a beast |

And though, i am using him with 84 in acc, and it isnt so big different, but although sagan is a rider that suprises everyone and beats up kristoff, greipel and all the good ones |

hmmm...I disagree with you on this point, latest example against that was the Tirreno stage Greggy won...

Sagan is a rider that is already too overpowered in PCM - and for that reason he has been decreased in Stamina already - giving him 84 acceleration would make the situation worse only, as well as putting him outside of the matrix. So yeah, that's a no go.

Sagan used to be a real threat in the Ardennes on PCM because of his allroundness. I agree caution should be used when updating him.
Démare 77 hill after his Cipressa?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

The only rider on 84 in the whole matrix is De Marchi in the FS, other than that it's never used. There was some talk a few years ago I remember of putting both Contador and Kittel to 84 but it never happened.
Demare looks good now in stats as this is what he'll have (unless he does exceptionally well in the cobble classics before the March update)
FL 77 MN 61 DO 77 CO 76 TT 63 PR 70 SP 79 AC 79 ST 77 RS 70 RC 75 HI 72 FS 65
....... as for the Cipressa!!!

The stat matrix basically comprehends minimum and maximum stat limits and the amount of riders on a certain stat. It varies from DB to DB and from Stat to Stat, for example Fighter's stat matrix is radically different compared to the Resistance's stat, or Focus DB has got completely different stats compared to ours.

So it's essentially a list or spreadsheet of minimum and maximum values of every stat? Is this why you rarely see any stats above 83 or 84? Thanks for the reply. |
