Good to see Wellens win the stage, because that final GC was quite anticlimatic
I wonder how much Zakarin got paid to make that pace in the final km
Zakarin forced because he was in the 3rd place, 1 sec advantage on Porte .... he forced for himself.... |

Nice to see that Gallopin gave Team Sky the win.. Chapou idiot.
And sure if stage 3 wasent cancelled. Contador would have won, with no doubt.
No Thomas and Henao gave Sky the win, Gallopin worked and kept his spot on the GC and his teammate got the stage win.
Yeah what an idiot Gallopin is!

I already hated Alain Gallopin, now Tony Gallopin will take his place, had 1810.00 PCM$ on Contador

Yes everything was great, besides the overall winner, who literally wheel sucked his whole way to Nice. |

Actually one can view the opposite as well, a guy that just year ago was a classic rider transforming himself into a rider that can challenge the best climber of the past decade in a week stage race. That no matter what is just ridiculous accomplishment.

I have to agree Gallopin riding was a bit odd, he had a team mate in the lead..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

As i wrote Sky being "Sky". getting his as saved by his team completly on a stupidly weak mountain stage, and the to top it of, a Gallopin deciding he is gonna ride the last 10 km, like his life depended on it.
Both P-N and Tirreno having KEY stages cancelled, probably the worst edition of these races for the past 5 years.
When you only race for 7 days, and 1(2 at most) is for the GC, you can't run a stupid risk of having to cancel the stage (Tirreno fucked up big time on this part, P-N to a lesser extend) |

Well yeah it was a bummer that stage 3 was cancelled but the rest of the race was exciting without a dull day.
I don't get why people are angry at Gallopin, first of all he didn't chase Wellens down but instead chased the group behind Wellens, second he was protecting his place on the GC so it made sense, third he outsprinted the group he was in to finish 4th so could of taken the stage win had the Wellens group been caught, fourth he wouldn't of acted alone and i'm sure his DS would of been telling him to ride.

Lets say, that Gallopin and Thomas had reached the main group a bit before, and they then together with Thomas had picked up Contador and Porte on the last few hundred meters. Yes he finished fourth, but it's a big risk to take, to help Thomas up to the main group, when you have a clear win with Wellens.
In my mind it was a supid gamble that could have gone all wrong, but in the end, it all went well for the Lotto boys.
Happy that Wellens took the stage, he always puts in a good ride. |

How pathetic and selfish of Gallopin. Not giving two shits about his team mate being in a perfect position to take the stage. Never understood why riders would go out and admit stuff like this. |
