About Stig Broeckx, in my opinion, it was the bike's fault

Nice racing in Omloop, i have missed K-B-K though, good win by Stuyven. Quite a powerful sprint from GVA, in anopther epic contest of 2nd place specialists.

Just got round to somewhat watching both on terrible internet on a phone.
Great races though, and Stuyven is amazing. Wasn't he the guy that won a vuelta stage with a Brocken arm last year?

I think it was hand or fingers.

Great ride by Stuyven. He may have been heavily assisted by his relative lack of reputation. I don't think a bigger named rider would have been allowed to ride off the front like that.
Will be interesting to see how he get's on in the next couple of years now his card is well and truly marked. |

Finally it is here, surely one of the best races in the calendar, should be WT classic! And usually great race for my favourite riders, go Štyby, Vakoč and Sagan.

But then again, these HC classics probably end up with better racing because they are HC rated.

Gent-Wevelgem 2015 disagrees
so we need to put giant fans on the side of the road to have good WT classics?

Does Vakoc have similiar (cycling) background to Sagan and Styby?

Partially. He also (like Sagan) started with MTB and was training with czech cyclocross coach when he was like 7-10 years old. Later when he was 14 he switched to road and track and joined famous Dukla Prague club. And from there it is all about the road, with swiss and french amateur junior teams and later Etixx academy.
Nice avatar btw.
