Devenyns definitely saved my points scoring this weekend, as except of him, it was somewhat of a no show from my riders, eventhough I admittedly had hoped for some nice points from Mallorca. Devenyns is already close to 50 percent of his total CQ points from last season, which obviously tells his win was somewhat unexpected as well.
Nordhaug showed some encouraging signs that didn't really result in big points. I can only hope he will get his chances as the season progresses. Carthy seems to have made progress, and it will be interesting to see what he can do when the climbs get bigger. |

Yeah what roturn said was pretty much my strategy going into this. Hoping for some big scoring as the season progresses in big races.

The season really kicks off now. 4 consecutive stage races, of which the Dubai Tour as HC category should deliver the biggest points. Almost half of the league`s riders participate in those events.
Marsupilami with the max of 16 riders involved while the minimum is 6 with Shonak. In average 10 riders of each team.
Regarding the fight of the overall ember seems to attack NicoVirenque. He has 4 more riders involved while also alexkr00 takes a small relax it seems. Also strength wise ember seems to look good this week as he has some of the race favourites like Lobato in Dubai, Devenyns in Besseges or Poels in Valencia. NicoVirenque possibly hopes for strong performances by Demare in Besseges or Dayer Quintana in Valencia, even though he might not be the team`s leader. Though after San Luis roles might have changed a bit.
Number wise it`s more the time of the low ranked managers as most of them have 10+ riders in those races. Only jaxika might still struggle.

Regarding my riders it`s not high in numbers but I have some hopes to score decently.
I think Kittel will have a nice Dubai Tour hopefully winning a sprint or two. Due to Hatta Dam probably no GC points though. Therefore I hope Ben Hermans has nice legs and won`t need to support Gilbert only. Possibly a finish, that would suit both of them.
Besseges and Herald Sun no pointers I`d say.
Valenciana I hope for Brändle to do well in the prologue and Ruffoni having a shot in one of the sprint stages while Belletti is the reigning champion in Etruschi. So here I hope for more scoring of course. |

Could do alright this month, could do badly, Cancellara and Swift are a good shot in Dubai and both Kreder and Marekzo could win a stage in Valenciana (Especially after Mareczko won a San Luis stage).

Don't expect much, or anything at all the coming week. Maybe Kennaugh because of the form he is in, but overall the fact that only 6 riders attend races greatly dimishes any point haul expectations.

It`s 33 points for Viviani today. 25 for the win and 8 for the lead. Actually same as Kittel for me yesterday.
Today though SN seems to have his season started. Dan Martin and also his young Topsport Vlaanderen gamble with Van Lerberghe do pay off. Seems like later could be the new Topsport guy for this year. |

Indeed, but that was kind of expected. I needed him to find his sprinter's legs for the overall win, which I think he was the favourite for. And unless he surprises everyone tomorrow, he won't. But I guess I can't complain, especially with Dillier looking set to pick up some nice points |

First check back on my team's progress and it's actually pretty good 
Ten Dam looks like he's going to take a few months to warm up, a few others slow to start but Petit off to a fantastic start, glad I stuck with him because he's already payed off massively.
I do have to laugh at Velits getting to 100% of last year in his first race. He can be totally anonymous this year and still get to about 600% of 2015 I think.
