The 2016 PCM.Daily Fantasy Betting Season has just started. Can SN defend his title? Or will we have a new winner?
All of you got a bit more money this time to start with giving you a chance to gamble more on the early long term bets as also the January Races.
I just started to do some long term bets and will continue to do so in the next moments.
Other than those, the rest of January will most likely consist the Aussie and possibly Kiwi NC`s, then San Luis and the Tour Down Under.
Goal for the season is to cover al big races. This means every WT event should be covered and it worked pretty well last year already I think. For the big races also additional stage or secondary classification bets will come as often as possible.
Non WT races are also covered. But due to time issues, there is no guarantee for those. Though last season there already were lots of them and it should be similar this year. Though it`s most likely GC or Winner only and stage bets for those only at times.
Good luck everyone and feel free to discuss here. Also if you really want a specific race or have ideas about some more special bet, feel free to PM me. Though please don`t PM me with any usual WT or HC race as those will most likely be covered anyway.

Was trying to figure out the final standings from last year. Curious to see what could happen if I go all year with no bets and just collecting money. Top 10 again like last year?

Don`t miss the Cadel Evans Road Race bet as it got just added but ends before the CX events.
The schedule for the next days/weeks is:
- Dubai Tour
- Qatar
- Oman
- Trofeo Laigueglia
I plan to make at least GC bets for those HC events. If I have enough time I might also make a few stage bets for those as the field should be nice.
Not sure about those .1 events like Marseilles, Sun Tour, Besseges, Valenciana, Etruschi, Mediteraneenne, Murcia, Almeria. A couple of those got a bet on daily last year, so might do some as well. But all depends on my time and available startlists in time.
Later in the months Algarve, Andalucia should get a nice field again, hence at least GC bets for those are likely to happen. Same for Langkawi as next HC race, while the cobblers will get their first bets with Omloop and KBK.
Well. That`s at least the planned schedule. If I can make all of them as wished, we will see later. No promise given. |

Nice work putting up a bet on the Sun Tour but the description of the stages isn't correct with Prologue and 4 flat stages, it's a Prologue followed by 2 hilly stages with a flat stage and then the final stage goes up Arthurs Seat twice which is a steep climb, I know this years route very well as I ride these roads often

I can`t change it unfortunately.
I don`t know these roads at all and went by some profiles or descriptions I got. Some had all stages flat with last stage uphill finish. Due to the profile I went for more hill instead in the description.
Though are the hilly stages 2+3 really that hilly? I mean in bigger races those profiles would be rated flat, would`t they?
First wanted to make some proper rider bet for this one. But while all real bookmakers totally crapped there with Froome at 1.50 while all others are 10+ in odds, I think that Froome won`t even be Sky`s best in the end plus Orica is the team that knows the roads the best. So went for such bet instead. |

Stage 1 Healesville to Healesville has 2126 elevation gain over 126 k's with Myres Creek Rd being summited with 16 k's to the finish https://www.strava.com/segments/632893 with the last 14 k's basically being down hill.
(I once did 7 repeats of Myres in one hit )
Stage 2 Yarra Glen to Moe has 2076 elevation gain over its 144 ks
Stage 3 Traralgon to Inverloch is what i'd call flat with only 1440 elevation gain over146 k's
Stage 4 Arthurs Seat to Arthurs Seat has 2200 elevation gain over 125 k's and I was wrong earlier when I said they go up Arthurs twice, it's actually 3 times https://www.strava.com/segments/632890
