haha I thought you had written it, then that somebody had written the same thing as you when I saw bike's post again.

On the ASO thing, there's also a UCI HC rule that HC races have to be under 200km and new races cannot be over 5 stages, not sure what will happen with the latter rule, although the 200km one will affect both LBL and Roubaix.

Well, if they make it a .1 race, they can't invite enough WT teams, so it will most likely be completely without the UCI rules.

So I doubt it will happen, but yeah, if both parties are stubborn.. https://en.wikipe...BA_lockout
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

ASO v.s UCI battles are happening in lots of different sports, this always happens when money gets into a sport, the professionals are better for it, which is the way it should be because they do their jobs really well, but the fans come worse when the money comes into play because the racing becomes worse with the infighting behind the scenes about who should be getting the money produced through the racing. Cycling will become better with more money but it needs to spent in the right places.

Holy shit I was reading this and thinking: huh, I didn't write this...
Then I saw, avatar mirrored Shock daamn confusing Grin

God shows himself in mysterious ways.
I, apparently, show myself in the same shape over again, but different rotations and color schemes. Cool
It's confusing as hell, though.

Not a great route imo (although we have had some great T-A routes in the past few years that this has to measure up to). The MTF is easier than Terminillo last year but difficult enough to neutralise the rest of the stage - something like 10km @ 7.5% I read. Unfortunately the potential banana-skin stage that is stage 4 is before the MTF so people will probably be conserving energy rather than the excellent 2013 route where there was a beautiful hilly stage ripe for attacks after two tough mountainous stages, resulting in action galore. A stage like that with the Marchigian Muros (Montelupone, Sant'Elpidio a Mare etc) would have been much better than what is a rather lame stage 6.

I don't get why you think you'd have a chance. Your avatar is not special basically everyone has the same. Pfft

I think that the T-A route is trying to get the classics riders away from Paris-Nice as that has been the easier course over the last couple of years

And can we all agree that is the Avatar of the Year now. So original, not one but two bikes!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."
