How can i create a way to still click on and see retired cyclists, so i can still see their history and results in career? |

I doubt this is possible during running careers.
Only way would be to make backup saves. I don`t know which date exactly they are deleted. Might be 31.12. probably but could also be a bit earlier.
So make a backup save once every year. Then you can load those to check retired riders.
I used to do this with weekly saves a couple of times for story writing reasons. |

Otherwise you could make their stats so horrible that no team will want them, put them in the fa pool (ID 119), put a 0 under gene_i_will_retire. All of this before October 25th.

The free agents
If instead of their team you put 119 under gene_team they'll be free agents.

I don't know if it was a bug or something but in my PCM 11 every retired rider just went to the free agent pool and had the "Will retire" thing locked in so that you couldn't sign them.
