Hi all,
I'm fair new to the game and started a career game mode with radio popular. I did ok and I'm now in my season 2 in continental pro.
Problem : I tried to subscribe to all races possible.... Organizers never accept my request ? Not knowing why, now my schedule from January to March is practically empty (only sponsors races in).
=> What determines the rejection or not ?
thx,

From my experience, the reasons can range from current number of teams already participating, popularity of your team, nationalities in your team.
To be honest, there is a number of reasons, and there is no real way of telling what it was. You can get an idea of the number of team participating in an editor, and see how has an invite plus the max number allowed in that race

With good results or by hiring more popular riders. I think you'll find it gets easier every year. |

It's always hard to get more invitations for small teams.
I once hired a rider from Qatar (there were only 2 such riders in the whole game) with a hope that I would get an invitation for Tour of Qatar but it didn't help. And I was a WT team already. |

Also is it possible that some low rank races are not available when you're in continental pro ?
Apparently it seems I don t have the possibility to do 1.2/2.2 races anymore ? |

As procontinental team you only enter 1.2/2.2 of your teams Nationality

Ho ok thx
Also how do you get good fitness in early race in january. It just impossible for the "Ruta de San louis" as instance not enough days to get to a descent fitness imo (even with major objective) or else i miss something. |

Those January races are mainly to get into form for more important races.
Hence it is a bit of a lottery if a rider is in decent form for San Luis or TdU depending how they start into the new year. |

As roturn said, it is a bit of a lottery. You can have a rider try and aim for races in February and have some sort of fitness from that late January, but to have someone fully peak for it is impossible.

Ho ok to bad my sponsor wanted top 5 these race this year :/
Also was wondering (yeah question just add up as I go ) how often do you change the type of training for one runner ? Since stats are capped what is the better time to stop going for the same improvement (where it's fair to assume you got to the cap).
Like 3 month sprint - 3 month puncher - etc. (or 1 year - 1 year or more ?)
Thank you |

Well what I found is that you absolutely need to train your rider at least for an XP level. If you're training him as a stage racer you need to wait him to reach the next level before you switch his training. Unless you are training him in similar stats, like climber - puncheur or cobbler - fighter, then I think it would be fine to do 50/50 per level, if you know what I mean.

Hmm but how do you access the level of your rider in career mode ?
I was thinking that level was only for Pro Mode? |

Yeah, I believe Matt was only talking about Be-A-Pro. I play PCM 14 and there you can see how much more each rider in each stat can still improve, I believe that is gone now. I guess the following two things are still true:
- Each training type trains several stats (plus I believe riders naturally evolve) so the training type isn't that crucial.
- Every season the game randomly decides how much a rider will grow, a number between 1 and 5. A 1 and your rider won't improve much, so it doesn't mean he's reached a cap even if team mates improved more with the same training.
So in that case - low progression - changing training type might make no difference whatsoever. And without knowing the precise potential for each stat it's next to impossible to make a recommendation. Safest bet is to stick with the rider's specialization until you are fairly sure it's maxed out, hasn't increased for a while. |
