Still 4th is good enough considering I had about 6 different crashes and it didnt help that once i got near someone I crashed afterwards

Paul23 - Messed up some of the modding stuff which made some of the cars have a better default setup than others. He decided taking away half of his points would be an appropriate punishment.

I also disagree with Pauls penalty. Alright there was a mistake made but i don't see why he should take away half his points for it, unless he knew it was a problem and didn't say anything on purpose but then i'd say half points is a light penalty.
What's the criteria that determines between a points penalty, and a penalty for the next race? As I seem to recall the latter was given earlier in the season, for the sort of thing jihardy has penalised himself for with a points penalty.
Don't really see the point of Paul's penalty either, if the inconsistencies were just a mistake.
The problem with such points penalties is the effect it has on the weights. Unless weight limitations are applied on a version of the Points totals that does not include penalties.
It's not up to me to say what penalty should be awarded.
I was just wondering if you have some sort of criteria that determines how strong a penalty should be, given the incident, just so that such decisions are consistent throughout the season.
A grid penalty would be more in keeping with previous penalties given out for incidents on the track. No-one had a points penalty before whereas there have been grid penalites.
For Paul - I get he's annoyed he made a mistake, but it was a mistake. I really don't think it worth a penalty at all. It sucks but i don't know how much of a difference it made to the cars. It's not like it was a msitake that made only Paul faster. A penalty just doens't seem right to me, unless he feels so guilty because he knew about it and chose to not mention it sooner (in which case it would be a serious problem).
@TMM - I'll give you an example: With my custom setup, my qualifying pace was low 1:46's, with race pace beeing low 1:47's. I accidentally forgot to load my setup, and was practising with the default setup (roughly on about 45 liters of fuel, normal race fuel then), and did a mid 1:45, and when I went for a qualifying run next, I could've gotten into 1:44's with ease.
Ok, instead of taking away his points I have decided Paul will just receive a 2 second penalty at the end of qualifying for the next 2 races that he attends.
For me, my penalty will be a 2 place grid penalty, does this seem fair?

The only thing that could be better, could be some music, but thats moaning on a very high niveau.
I liked it with just the sounds of the game, music might have actually made it worse imo. Great video, I'm definitely going to watch more of your league's races now. I feel sorry for Comstar after that race, some really bad luck for him there.
