Very funny Ian clap clap
As for the rest, well fuck that was totally one of the best reports of the year. Totally unexpected to see the crybaby losing it in that way, I was just expecting him to control it from the start and eventually do first or 2nd but still ahead of the good Ol'Lion.
Why Matt can't suddenly ride his bike anymore btw? It's like the 4th consecutive race where he does some certain kind of mistake. This one was the worst as well, meh, I was pretty sure it would be him and Cook until the end, Cook attacks, Matt 2nd
Btw: And Mazzarelli looks like a weak dear separated from the herd, dropping behind. He gets picked up by Cornelis and Cook instantly
Must be Cornelis and Vague as cookie was in the front already?
Still epic win by Dries, loved to see him saying goodbye in that way. Looking forward to Selwinks post as well!

Yes, of course, thanks for pointing out
Well Matt is still technically very strong, but even Sven Nys has crosses where he makes several mistakes. It's just a very hard sport and even the best can't ride every race perfectly |

Hmmm kind of inclined to agree, in character it's fine I guess but yeah. I've been guilty of doing it a bit in general thread myself.

Hope you didn't take that really seriously. If that's the case then I'm sorry
Crybaby was the first thing I thought when I read your blog post tbh, but maybe it was indeed too hard for the general thread.

Is Crybaby having a little cry? Awww
And Mr. 80% jumps to his aid, getting testy after taking too many steroids?

All good, I just don't like it see mixed up. Vague is in many ways still a kid and just lost a historic chance. If it was me, I'd be honestly super depressed hence why the post (remember Purito @ World Championships, he's a grown man). Plus it adds substance to his character and may open a new narrative for the third season.

Hehe but if I said Goldie the Accuser you would say "no his manager".
So two can play at that game
If else, Goldenberg jumps in and actually just says Listerijn is taking steroids Your move.

It's blood transfusions(or EPO?) not steroids, steroids don't get your hematocrit up.
Just lost my workings on a post from Sylvain. Will, try again tomorrow.

The Arenberg Classic. Not my best work, sorry about that. Wasn't feeling very inspirational Maybe I should've waited and done the report later then.
Hope you enjoy it anyway..! |

Ian, that was certainly much better than I could have ever done with a shortish, flat cobbled route still enjoyed reading it immensely and best to move on to a more exciting race if you can't feel it congrats to Hammarling for a smart win, good to see Mutahi get another good result. Onto Dunkerque and hopefully Bollinger vs Listerijn for the race, the pride and the UCI rankings can be resolved once and for all!

No worries, still enjoyed it quite a bit. Looking forward to off-season though so it's good there's only one race left now.
Wow almost 2 seasons done Ian, so impressive.

Pierre is 5th
Sylvain and Pierre didn't attempt there conplex and unlikely plan, but the words complex and unlikely might have something to do with it. and Pierre still came 5th, I'm looking forward to see how he develops.
Unless you were planning to wait until Pierre would win this race was great. (that may not make any sense it does to me but doesn't sound like it would Pretty much saying thanks for the great report )

I normally wouldn't be happy with a 4th place, but surely Matt could have never done any better in an epic route like that. Ian looks like he's having fun with those 4th places but last year after Matt won at Kwaremont he didn't let him win 3 raced in a row if ya know what I mean
Still a great report, thanks for that!

Tomorrow we end the 2nd season of CX:AND.
This means sign-ups will open up fairly soon, too. I think I'll take an off-season break of about 2-3 weeks, give everyone plenty of time to sign-up or recharge for the new season before starting up season 3.
I'll do the challenges (jumping, dune...) right before the new season, as it seems more appropriate then to finish a season. Then we can also have the new sign-ups compete in them.
So list of things to do (in this order) :
- Dunkirk Report (hopefully tomorrow)
- Open sign-ups
- The Scope season review
- break
- new season! |

And with this, the second season has come to an end
I'll do another Scope review of the season later, though!
Thanks for another amazing season, guys. It's been a blast. I hope I can still improve and bring you a 3rd season that's even better than this one.
I'll open the sign-ups for next season soon |
